EXCELLENT VIDEO!!!!! i subscribed to ben's channel and gonna dive in to it......and im afraid that i might be a blue state bootlicker myself....lol!!!!
I love this video guys. Very well set up visually. The subject matter is fascinating and I kept imagining you to are somehow surviving through some sort of conflict or civil unrest happening down in the valley or just over the ridge based on the sounds in the background lol.
The places to camp in Maine are getting less and less albeit it’s a vacation spot. I found contacting the town managers office and asking before camping helps. My rig is a truck camper so there is no stealth aspect. An off season parking lots near the beach have been fun however it’s how I learned the importance of a diesel heater and insulation.
Great video as always. As for 20:43, I personally love the locations you go to, aswell as the scenery and stories included. Oh, and the campfire atmosphic is amzing!
Happily, TH-cam popped your channel as a suggestion this morning. I've often wondered how people do the vanlife thing around here. Appreciate the Q&A! Here's one I didn't hear. How do you maintain residency in Taxachusetts without a physical address? Also, I'm glad you got the wiper issue fixed! I always felt like state inspections were a scam. I due for mine next month. I won't be going back to the shady place I went last year.
I’m heading up the east coast this summer to Maine in my campervan. It’s been a challenge to look for places to park overnight that don’t cost an arm and a leg.
what I have enjoyed is your very calming voice and taking me on a trip in our area. The week in a life video was so eye opening to hidden gems. Are you going towards Cape Cod in the summer? Safe travels.
Your rarely far from a Dunkin in New England. It’s too bad the north woods (Maine) are all privately owned. You can camp in some logging company owned lands, but it was kind of expensive. Maybe a New England van meetup?
Yeah, the regulations of MA and NY are insane regarding DMV stuff. Chases nomads away. I do love New England though, but really like the Adirondacks Moose River Plains for camping.
Become a resident of a state that doesn’t do inspections, Florida for one I believe. Out west you stay overnight in a place and there’s your residence…there’s ways around it all , do some research , you’ll see

Great video with two of you answering questions about van life. Really enjoyed this video. Thanks

1:59 That sounded like a stray bullet whizzed by real close.

Thanks! I never wanted van life to be the main thing on my channel, but it certainly gets the most views.

I’ve learned never to do inspections through the dealership you bought from. It’s their interest to keep you buying more. Lesson learned!

Video I just posted yesterday should help you out for that.
I'm glad you two hooked up!
It was a blast!

Thanks Theresa! 👊 No plans for the Cape, instead I’ll be heading down the east coast to Florida and back.

Would love to do a meetup this summer.

ADK is awesome in the summer, there are some great spots off Route 3 for primitive camping.
Enjoy the MA/New England spots and how you navigate vanlife in the Commonwealth.
Very nice!
Thanks 👍
Great video love those Guys
Fun time and that campfire makes a great light for video!
Even the animals can’t find shelter on the east coast, everywhere is over built and not necessary
Way too crowded!

Not an option for me. Plus I don't want to travel to a state 1000 miles away for a jury duty summons.
