- In this episode, we check out the rotary features of the MAKO Series: M1 Modulation Machine. Because you can’t fit a Leslie speaker on your pedalboard, type I aims for that traditional watery sound of a well-oiled Leslie speaker. Type II only spins the horn but still plays the sound out of the drum. Type III only spins the drum but still plays sound from the horn.

Awesome, that is the best demonstration of a Leslie simulator that I have heard. Wasn’t overly keen on that sound beforehand, but PJ’s playing had definitely made me want one now
Thanks! This box continues to impress us.
Hello guys! Happy that I found this channel. You showed me new dimensions of that pedal.
Glad to hear it. Welcome!
Dude! I have a Walrus DECON4 EQ and ARP-87 delay. I’m look at their other delay but this looks great too!
Their delay from the MAKO series is great!
Nux owner here. I really dig your break downs. Can you do a episode on the Eventide H9 or modfactor. Josh Smith gets a killer rotary sound from it, would love to c your take on it. Thanks
Thanks. We would love to do the eventide stuff. Josh Smith makes it sound great, but of course, that guy could make anything sound great. We will look into it. Thanks
What is the vibe on this unit like? Can you get uni-vibe like Hendrix?
I don't think so. It's been a while so don't hold me to that, but I just looked at the instruction manual and I don't see it there either. The "vibe" setting is more of a vibrato which is like a chorus without the clean sound so you only get the detuned warbly thing going.
@PJandtheBeard Thabk you for your comment back. I decided to go with a Strymon Mobius for the things I am looking for.
@@TAkridge probably can’t go wrong with that!
