This is exactly what I am looking for, a multi-modulation pedal in a stombox form without all of the digital/preset stuff. Looks really classy too. Great work on this pedal
My pedalboard now has: Fathom Reverb Slo reverb Mako Series D1 Warhorn OD And now I’m looking at this dope pedal to add to it! Love Walrus Audio products, they make up 80% of my board
Now we're talking! This right here is a great demo video, and the M1's capabilities really shine. No need to get all talky talky - just let the pedal and the playing show us what's up. And I love all the classic riffs!
Looking forward to this saving some space on my board for me. Love the blue too! Looking forward to see what Mako pedal you guys are coming up with next!
Great demo! Would you say a Flanger can be achieved through manipulating the chorus setting? Flanger seems like an omission for all the elements you have included. BTW its sounds great!!
Agree. It’s the one omission that will keep me from adding it to my R1 and D1. One of the other effects could have been combined I think. Maybe flanger is in there somewhere 🤷🏻♂️.
They released the polychrome just a little while ago and that may be part of why the flanger wasn’t included. I’m sold on this without the flanger as a polychrome owner. The versatility of everything more than makes up for not having a flange and typically you can get into flange territory with the chorus. Can’t wait!
Is it possible to get a chorus sound close or similar to a Dimension C chorus? Love that Lo-Fi effect is it's own control and can be used in conjunction with every other effect, very cool. Seems like the Lo-Fi + the Filter effect can get you some neat old timey phonograph type sounds maybe?
does the rotary mode do the lo fi/ telephone effect?? thats literally the only reason I'm interested in this pedal. I play black metal and would love to have effect in my arsenal. high gain with the telephone effect sounds so wicked, add in a good amount of reverb and it sounds just evil especially when doing single note picking.
@walrusaudioeffects been trying to figure out if the "space" on the Tremolo comes before or after the trem. Hoping the trem is on the reverb so the trails of the reverb pulse. Thx.
@@walrusaudioeffects I‘m asking because I wouldn‘t put all of these effects at the same position if they were separate units. I‘d put phaser before drive but rotary after. Is there any smart technology in your pedal that helps with pre/post positioning?
I bought this and I need to study the manual. I hope the lo-Fi reverb has its own adjustable parameter to eliminate it while allowing any other lo-fi artifacts to remain. I just loathe any and all reverb.
That nod to DC talk during the rotary, great work
I thought the same thing, love that riff!
I immediately was like “heck yea”! So help me God freaking ROCKED
I’m so happy this is the first comment.
Really well done demo video. I enjoyed hearing 2 players’ different perspectives on the same effects. Another awesome pedal, y’all!
Thank you!

I agree it's a cool pedal and I want one. But it is digital, and it does have presets ...
@@ILuvJazzNJava yea I ended up getting it, the tone is killer. Yep it does have presets, not gonna use them tho
Can I blend them? I don't think so
The pedal doesn’t force you to use menus in order to use it
I love love love that you played Throwing Muses. Such an underrated band.
As a flanger hater this was music to my ears! Ordering mine today.

Fathom Reverb

Mako Series D1
Warhorn OD

WA Mako Series killing it with the stereo effects. Just wish they weren't $350+ each
they drop in value once there are plenty out in the wild - you can get a used Mako D1 for half the price it was on release
Costs a bit to pack them in such a compact enclosure. Strymon Blue sky is twice the size.
They’re 1/2 price now for the mk1.
Been wanting something like this. Great sounds. Ease of controls for live use. Walrus knocked it out of the park with this one!
Thank you!
Looking forward to this saving some space on my board for me. Love the blue too! Looking forward to see what Mako pedal you guys are coming up with next!
thanks!
Wow, wow, wow...a DC Talk guitar solo!!! (can't wait for mine to arrive!)
Completely made my day.
9:00 i feel like crying 😪wonderful pedal, great guitarist. she's great
Also, what an inspiring video!
Yvette at 6:08 sells it for me, guitar tremolo sounds fantastic. The entire video is full of great tones. 😊
Yvette is great! Thanks!
Would LOVE a synth demo of this! Sounds awesome!!!
Ditto this Walrus! Demos need to get some synth love as well :)
Can it handle synth line-level inputs? Apparently the R1 has problems with this.
Looking forward to add this to my board soon. The controls seem daunting, but seems like such an abundance of sounds.
There's a lot to toy with for sure, but its easy to learn, then just save what you find via a preset!
How well does the MIDI Control work? Can I jump through the presets with an effects switcher like the GigRig G3?

Beautiful video. Gorgeous sounds.
How does the chorus compare with the Julianna? I love my Julianna but don't have space for other modulations on my ES8 controlled board.
My body is ready for you M1
i just bought one ,can't wait to put it on my pedalboard
Thank you!
Was that DC Talk's "So Help Me God" at the 8:36 mark??!😅
yup!
@walrusaudioeffects Yooo! That's dope!! One my early musical influences!

Wow, sounds absolutely awesome! Need to get this now! 😅
gonna get this once i get my paycheck!
🙌
great demo !!!!!!
Where is the Flanger?
Who wanted?! 😆
I don't use a flanger but I sort of wondered the same thing.
What’s a flanger?
@@townieofthenorth lol 😂
@@Gustavo-ro9hk i genuinely don’t know 😭😭
Loved it!
Thanks!
The coral jazzmaster.....dayum
This is so beautiful! Gonna sell some other pedals for this masterpiece
💛💛
is it possible to combine the different modulation effects? i.e. chorus+trem, etc
8:36 DC Talk!
dc Talk!!!!!! That needed more fuzz and more righteous volume
Anyone know the song at 10:20 with the type 1 filter? It sounds so similar to a song I used to listen to years ago but I can’t place it
John Mayer - I Don’t Trust Myself
Just bought one at a Music Go Round. Have there been any firmware updates since the release? Love it so far!!
Yup! go to walrusaudio.io on a desktop browser running chrome to update!

You can apply "age" to any of the programs to make them sound like old, tinny radio type sounds!

reverb comes after all of the effects
@@walrusaudioeffects copy that, thank you.
what OD was he using for rotary? 8:41
Ages!
great sounding pedal! a nightmare to dial in. why you guys never put out a desktop app is beyond me.
I’m a bit let down that it doesn’t come with a flanger, even the mod 11 by Ehx has it
Song at 12:32 ??
even though my line 6 M5 does all this (mostly), and in stereo too, im still want want want
On an amp without effects loop, where does this go in the effect chain between delay and fuzz?
It goes wherever sounds best to your ears. There’s no wrong answer!

Yes, the reverb is adjustable through the space toggle!
What is that P90 guitar please ? Awesome sounds from that pedal 👍
Thanks! It’s the CME Pacific Peach Jazzmaster.
Who are the guitarists in the video?
Yvette Young and a local musician, Chavez Soliz!
@@walrusaudioeffects Oh sweet, thanks! I thought I recognized her.
Ordered one on Thomann (for Italy) a while ago, when is it going to ship?
First batch is beginning to ship today to dealers and direct orders!
@@walrusaudioeffects to Europe aswell or US first? I have ordered one from a dealer i Sweden.
Where was the overdrive in this chain?
Ages is first in the chain!
Yung Yvette is her rap name

ok you had me when he played time spent in los angeles
The real question is does it come with a sticker?
Throwing Muses 7:30 in FTW!!
8:37 I hear some DC Talk

Arrives tomorrow to complete the mini-Mako board! Very excited to give this a go. Was that the intro to Jesus Freak?? lol
intro to so help me God! Quite the youth group throw back but it has such a great rotary on it!
@@walrusaudioeffects Ahhh, right! That's it. Never realized that was rotary!
DCTALK, Steely Dan and John Mayer within about 1 minute. Y’all wanna start a band? 😂
Ha!
It really, really sounds digital.
MY GOD you just made me broke
Could you send me one of these for free?
I didn't like Lo-Fi button.
No flanger. For $350 you don't get a flanger. In a modulation multi effect you don't get a flanger. It's just wrong on so many levels.
Only Analog flanger for 10000€ is a Flanger. Right.
MK2 has a Flanger and MK1 owners get the flanger too via an update. Things come to those who wait.
@@Musicislife668 Cool!
I liked the dude's covers/homages, but everything the homeless lady played just sounded the same
