The M1 is a powerful multi-function modulation machine with six customized, studio-quality programs: Chorus, Phaser, Tremolo, Vibrato, Rotary, and Filter. Each program has a wealth of options to tune, tweak, customize and then save to one of nine onboard presets. A sound explorers delight, the M1 features a dedicated lo-fi knob allowing you to mix various lo-fi parameters to every program. Add subtle movement and texture to float under your playing or make a massive statement with a thick swirling chorus to choppy panning tremolo. Is it possible to get a chorus sound close or similar to a Dimension C chorus? Love that Lo-Fi effect is it's own control and can be used in conjunction with every other effect, very cool. Seems like the Lo-Fi + the Filter effect can get you some neat old timey phonograph type sounds maybe?

I bought this and I need to study the manual. I hope the lo-Fi reverb has its own adjustable parameter to eliminate it while allowing any other lo-fi artifacts to remain. I just loathe any and all reverb.
Yes, the reverb is adjustable through the space toggle!

No flanger. For $350 you don't get a flanger. In a modulation multi effect you don't get a flanger. It's just wrong on so many levels.
Only Analog flanger for 10000€ is a Flanger. Right.
I liked the dude's covers/homages, but everything the homeless lady played just sounded the same
WA Mako Series killing it with the stereo effects. Just wish they weren't $350+ each
they drop in value once there are plenty out in the wild - you can get a used Mako D1 for half the price it was on release
Costs a bit to pack them in such a compact enclosure. Strymon Blue sky is twice the size.
This is exactly what I am looking for, a multi-modulation pedal in a stombox form without all of the digital/preset stuff. Looks really classy too. Great work on this pedal

Great demo! Would you say a Flanger can be achieved through manipulating the chorus setting? Flanger seems like an omission for all the elements you have included. BTW its sounds great!!
Agree. It’s the one omission that will keep me from adding it to my R1 and D1. One of the other effects could have been combined I think. Maybe flanger is in there somewhere 🤷🏻♂️.
They released the polychrome just a little while ago and that may be part of why the flanger wasn’t included. I’m sold on this without the flanger as a polychrome owner. The versatility of everything more than makes up for not having a flange and typically you can get into flange territory with the chorus. Can’t wait!

How does the chorus compare with the Julianna? I love my Julianna but don't have space for other modulations on my ES8 controlled board.

I didn't like Lo-Fi button.
Looking forward to add this to my board soon. The controls seem daunting, but seems like such an abundance of sounds.
There's a lot to toy with for sure, but its easy to learn, then just save what you find via a preset!
Now we're talking! This right here is a great demo video, and the M1's capabilities really shine. No need to get all talky talky - just let the pedal and the playing show us what's up. And I love all the classic riffs!

On an amp without effects loop, where does this go in the effect chain between delay and fuzz?
It goes wherever sounds best to your ears. There’s no wrong answer!
@@walrusaudioeffects I‘m asking because I wouldn‘t put all of these effects at the same position if they were separate units. I‘d put phaser before drive but rotary after. Is there any smart technology in your pedal that helps with pre/post positioning?
