I had no idea that there was so much cheating in this game. I feel like I see it so rarely in my lobbies but I'm probably just not good enough to be able to tell lmao.
Even as flats stated, If you're a regular player in this game, You'd think nothing of it. It's stuff only noticeable thru replay viewer. Even high level people can't even tell unless they know to specifically look for it
You don't se as much in actual play, though it def does happen. Kiri's hacks were very well made. Especially rage hack part. Between heals and the fact it was not only snapping to a target but the lowest hp target to kill. Insane
A lot of people have no idea how complex cheats have become over the past decade. They're just expensive or completely private invite-only cheats. Idk about OW but Cod, Apex, and csgo all have private cheats with stuff like AI aimbot, use of game exploits, etc. Even unique forms of wallhacks that are subtle enough to not give you away as a cheater.

This reminds me of hvh fights in tf2, where you'd get someone with really subtle cheats accusing someone else of using really subtle cheats. Always ended the same way: one of them would dial it up to a million and start blatant rage hacking.
Honestly at least TF2 has easy ways combat rage hackers with sentries, uber, vaccinator, bonk Scouts, and taunts that alter your hitbox (most cheats will aim where your head is normally)
It sort of concerns me the idea that cheats might be pretty much impossible to detect if they just limit themselves. Like imagine a cheat that only corrects your shots to headshots say, 30% percent of the time, and only if your crosshair was already close enough to a head to look natural. If you already are aiming correctly for a headshot it does nothing. Subtle enough to be undetected even when watching a replay, but still giving you a consistent edge that would allow you to climb significantly past your actual level of skill. Similar ideas could be applied to walls, imagine walls but that only show you heroes that disappeared from your actual view in say, the past 5 seconds. It would give you a definite advantage when people are peeking in and out of cover, sniper duels, or when chasing people that are entering buildings/cover, while preventing you from telling on yourself by tracking things that you couldn't really predict. Things like that, that give you a small, low risk, but consistent edge. Now the question is: how do we know this is not already happening? Tinfoil hat time
There is a Cheat that will only lock on if your curser goes into the enemy's hitbox. And it only hits body shots. It will shoot for you at the perfect time, but it looks natural. I've come across it a few times and really, the only time you can tell is kill cam or replay.
That’s happening in plenty of games. Racing games have all kinds of mods that add x% traction or anything else to give you just the slightest advantage. A few pro sim racers have been caught in recent years

i mean, when both teams have a cheater, you can't really feel bad when one of the teams win. i just felt bad for the silver mercy trying to climb, i think the kiri did deserve the win bc the mercy was on their team
The other cheater actually turned down his hacks because he knew damn well this game was going to go under review due to the rage hacking so he didnt wanna get caught in the crossfire so to speak
To those that didnt know about this. Even if you do have the setting with kiriko on where it "forces" you to throw all your papers, you can cancel by clicking it again.
these videos have helped me be able to spot cheaters in my own game, played as junkrat today and had a soldier who always seemed to find me during my tires, would prefire coming around corners i was behind when i wasnt moving or making a sound one kill cam seemed a little off so i watched another one and the soldier breifly but fully tracked me thru a wall then took me 200-0 without missing a single bullet, before i would of only looked at the aim and would of chalked the first funny kill cam up to luck or smurfing but knowing what to look for and putting everything together has made me able to spot them a lot easier

This is so sad too. It's like, now when I die, I just think cheater instead of "Hey that person is just better." Which is what I used to think.
Its become far more popular since Esports became a thing and how massive the TH-cam/twitch gaming industry has become. When you can make serious money by playing video games your gonna do whatever it is to put you above the rest. I guarantee that atleast 60% of streamers are cheating. You probably have 30% of your casual games running some sort of cheat.
@@rinslergj1 Yea there is big time denial of how rampant cheating is for streamers. It's like believing athletes don't use PEDs more often than not. Theres millions of dollars on the line of course people are going to sell out for some quality stuff that isn't super sus.
You cant really determine actual numbers, but in most games around a third of the player base is cheating. One third is statistically 3 cheaters in one 5v5 match. The absolute majority of these players is subtle cheating, so most people cant really tell if its just game sense or wall hacking.
Just my 2 cents, but one the reasons why they might not insta ban them even tho their system "MIGHT" detect it is because they want to gather more data on that specific cheat. Not sure if that's what is happening but yeah, it might be :p
The Ana at first... wouldn't have known by her shots if I was in the middle of playing, but her very weird game sense would have caught my attention and I'd have looked after. Once they made the Kiriko/Bap switches though it became pretty obvious even before the full on rage hack.

I've only seen one that ranks up there with this one... can't remember if it was a Flats video or an Emongg video but both sides of a Rialto map had someone playing two accounts on it. So for both the attack team and the defend team you'd see one player go afk, then suddenly become active while another went ask, and rinse and repeat.
This honestly makes me feel like all those times I get suspicious about that Hanzo in gold hitting just a few too many headshots, I might have playing against a cheater.
Nah you're playing against a hanzo. hanzo has projectile headshot hitbox which is larger and hanzo spams chokes a lot so they get lucky a ton in gold especially

Honestly I wish Flats went back to see if the kiriko was cheating the entire time. Because just from the looks of it. It looks like he was more concerned with baiting the bap into full on rage hacking then he was winning the match. Now whether it was because he only cheats against other cheaters or if he cheats all the time and was just trying to get bap banned so he doesn't face more cheater so he can win easier idk.

@@machine7angel to be clear, hallucinations are a term coined by CoD devs. Basically, it’s an invisible entity that can be placed around corners that emulate player behavior and detects whether someone with aim or wall hacks is attempting to interact with them. Their entire point is that regular players won’t know they’re there, so if anyone tries to shoot them, they’re 100% hacking.

@@RiverM8rix Any cheat worth its salt isn't going to fall for such tactics. Visual based cheats that don't touch game memory is the correct approach. You just have the program look for whatever image you want to have them shoot at and have the aimhack lock onto that. Rather then training the aimbot to lock onto a color you train it to lock onto specific geometric shapes and aim within an area of said shapes, allow for some inaccuracy at a random interval and your going to avoid detection if done properly.
Watching a streamer transition to reading sponsors makes me happy. Watching a person successfully making a living doing what they love makes me warm and fuzzy.

This reminds me of the old days (I'm only 18) in like Bo3 and Bo2 when ethical cheaters existed where they would have hacks and use them to 1v1 unethical cheaters while the rest of the lobby either continued knowing that the unethical cheater had to suffer or went afk and watched the brawl of the titans.
yesterday i had a game on rialto and on the enemy team there was an ashe cheater with a mercy pocket. as a mercy i dont really get headshotted often but i was forced to not heal my team anymore because the split second i peaked id die, and my team was pushing in. my teammate was like "my team isnt playing anymore because an ashe can hit shots" yeah when every single shot on me and in their potg was a locking headshot i wont really want to play anymore
I love seeing these. Long time lurker. As a top .5% MOBA player its super easy for me to know if someone is scripting (hacking) in those games. Its awesome to see your knowledge of FPS and just how even small things can reveal someone is cheating. I hear of cheaters all the time in FPS but I never want to jump on the implication they are so these are fun dives.

This guy at the start played like a friend of mine who has thousands of hours in aim trainers. Every game he plays he has godly aim, but never bothers to learn the actual mechanics of the game, he never bothers to learn as his aim usually can carry him to at least the mid ranks and thats about the time he gets bored and moves to another game.

And what was strange is his camera movement was.. weird. Like it jerk him 90 degree by 90 degree straight at me, kills me while mid fighting the Winston and Orisa. Thanks for your video Flats. The anti cheat in OW just seems to be on a way lower level than the cheats themselves. I have had to report so many cheaters recently it's insane and that is with watching replays to confirm multiple times. Most of them are subtle cheats but they let it slip from time to time. Replays even jitter and bug out too. I don't know what's going on there with the devs but majority if not all don't get banned or even a warning. I send game codes and replay time stamps for proof. Absolute JOKE they are, both cheaters and the devs for not policing. Thanks again for all of your content.

I like how every time the Bap goes afk to crank the cheats up, you can tell that he clicks back into the game from the cheats as he primary fires and then continues to move
It feels like this other cheater realised the first guy was cheating as Ana and decided to out cheat the cheater. They duel a little as Anas in round 1 but the second cheater doesn't start doing well until round 2 where he just starts head shotting everyone as Bap. It's like at the end, when the first guy is rage hacking, the second guy is just smirking since he knows the first guy is getting banned cause he pushed him into fully exposing himselg.
At 25:37 one burst hits two people. The first shot finishes off the Baptiste and before the next shot in the burst fires the crosshair snaps to the Mercy who wasn't even on screen when the Bap died, and then the next two shots are headshots.

The only time I track squishies through shield is on projectile heroes, since there's a chance the barrier comes down and I get a hit off asap but still do damage to shield to help break it.
Regarding Flat's opening talk about refresh dates, I didnt believe in higher rates monitor for "medium ranked people" thought it was something for top500 to worry about. But when I got a new monitor I got 144hz and I went up a couple of tiers, from usually lurking Diamond 5 to Plat1 I went to be consistent to Diamond 2-3. I'm a flex player So I'll use mostly tanks/supports.

You cant really determine actual numbers, but in most games around a third of the player base is cheating. One third is statistically 3 cheaters in one 5v5 match. The absolute majority of these players is subtle cheating, so most people cant really tell if its just game sense or wall hacking.
Just my 2 cents, but one the reasons why they might not insta ban them even tho their system "MIGHT" detect it is because they want to gather more data on that specific cheat. Not sure if that's what is happening but yeah, it might be :p

The Ana at first... wouldn't have known by her shots if I was in the middle of playing, but her very weird game sense would have caught my attention and I'd have looked after. Once they made the Kiriko/Bap switches though it became pretty obvious even before the full on rage hack.

I've only seen one that ranks up there with this one... can't remember if it was a Flats video or an Emongg video but both sides of a Rialto map had someone playing two accounts on it. So for both the attack team and the defend team you'd see one player go afk, then suddenly become active while another went ask, and rinse and repeat.
Damn, it’s actually scary how good cheating has gotten. Even knowing they’re cheating, the detectability of the cheats here is tiny.

Nah you're playing against a hanzo. hanzo has projectile headshot hitbox which is larger and hanzo spams chokes a lot so they get lucky a ton in gold especially

Honestly I wish Flats went back to see if the kiriko was cheating the entire time. Because just from the looks of it. It looks like he was more concerned with baiting the bap into full on rage hacking then he was winning the match. Now whether it was because he only cheats against other cheaters or if he cheats all the time and was just trying to get bap banned so he doesn't face more cheater so he can win easier idk.

If you turn on aimbot you suddenly start hearing That Melody and hearing sigma whispering crazily into your ear
@@machine7angel to be clear, hallucinations are a term coined by CoD devs. Basically, it’s an invisible entity that can be placed around corners that emulate player behavior and detects whether someone with aim or wall hacks is attempting to interact with them.
Their entire point is that regular players won’t know they’re there, so if anyone tries to shoot them, they’re 100% hacking.

@@RiverM8rix Any cheat worth its salt isn't going to fall for such tactics. Visual based cheats that don't touch game memory is the correct approach. You just have the program look for whatever image you want to have them shoot at and have the aimhack lock onto that. Rather then training the aimbot to lock onto a color you train it to lock onto specific geometric shapes and aim within an area of said shapes, allow for some inaccuracy at a random interval and your going to avoid detection if done properly.
Watching a streamer transition to reading sponsors makes me happy. Watching a person successfully making a living doing what they love makes me warm and fuzzy.
I’m the opposite lol. I don’t know why but I have an ingrained hatred of advertisements of any sort. But I don’t begrudge people making a living. I’m weird lol.

This reminds me of the old days (I'm only 18) in like Bo3 and Bo2 when ethical cheaters existed where they would have hacks and use them to 1v1 unethical cheaters while the rest of the lobby either continued knowing that the unethical cheater had to suffer or went afk and watched the brawl of the titans.

yesterday i had a game on rialto and on the enemy team there was an ashe cheater with a mercy pocket. as a mercy i dont really get headshotted often but i was forced to not heal my team anymore because the split second i peaked id die, and my team was pushing in. my teammate was like "my team isnt playing anymore because an ashe can hit shots" yeah when every single shot on me and in their potg was a locking headshot i wont really want to play anymore

I love seeing these. Long time lurker. As a top .5% MOBA player its super easy for me to know if someone is scripting (hacking) in those games. Its awesome to see your knowledge of FPS and just how even small things can reveal someone is cheating. I hear of cheaters all the time in FPS but I never want to jump on the implication they are so these are fun dives.

Every game he plays he has godly aim, but never bothers to learn the actual mechanics of the game, he never bothers to learn as his aim usually can carry him to at least the mid ranks and thats about the time he gets bored and moves to another game.

This inspires me to check over matches more. I had weird encounter of a Sigma who was fighting a Winston and Orisa while I was Sombra way behind him fighting a Torbjorn. And what was strange is his camera movement was.. weird. Like it jerk him 90 degree by 90 degree straight at me, kills me while mid fighting the Winston and Orisa. Thanks for your video Flats. The anti cheat in OW just seems to be on a way lower level than the cheats themselves. I have had to report so many cheaters recently it's insane and that is with watching replays to confirm multiple times. Most of them are subtle cheats but they let it slip from time to time. Replays even jitter and bug out too. I don't know what's going on there with the devs but majority if not all don't get banned or even a warning. I send game codes and replay time stamps for proof.
Absolute JOKE they are, both cheaters and the devs for not policing.

I like how every time the Bap goes afk to crank the cheats up, you can tell that he clicks back into the game from the cheats as he primary fires and then continues to move
It feels like this other cheater realised the first guy was cheating as Ana and decided to out cheat the cheater. They duel a little as Anas in round 1 but the second cheater doesn't start doing well until round 2 where he just starts head shotting everyone as Bap. It's like at the end, when the first guy is rage hacking, the second guy is just smirking since he knows the first guy is getting banned cause he pushed him into fully exposing himselg.
At 25:37 one burst hits two people. The first shot finishes off the Baptiste and before the next shot in the burst fires the crosshair snaps to the Mercy who wasn't even on screen when the Bap died, and then the next two shots are headshots.

The only time I track squishies through shield is on projectile heroes, since there's a chance the barrier comes down and I get a hit off asap but still do damage to shield to help break it.
Regarding Flat's opening talk about refresh dates, I didnt believe in higher rates monitor for "medium ranked people" thought it was something for top500 to worry about. But when I got a new monitor I got 144hz and I went up a couple of tiers, from usually lurking Diamond 5 to Plat1 I went to be consistent to Diamond 2-3. I'm a flex player So I'll use mostly tanks/supports.
