One thing you should know about Aurora, is that her live performances are usually way better than the cover versions. She displays so much emotion while singing and it really adds to it. I would love to see you react to both Runaway and Murder song (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) live from the Nobel Peace Prize concert.

Fun facts about the Runaway Music Video:
It was shot (as far as we know) during January 31 to February 2, 2015. She was 18 at this time. She wrote Runaway at the age of 11-12 and finalized it at the age of 14 (for a school project, as she mentioned in an interview).
The parts, where she wears the 'furry' top (it's actually sheep wool) are shot at the west coast of the Drange peninsula, less than a mile away from her parents house.
The parts in the forest were shot in the same forest where she played as a kid very close to her parents house.
The parts, in which she wears a thin white cardigan and with some trees in the near background and the island of Lysøya in the background, are shot actually in the backyard of her parents house in Drange (Norway).

If you want to see Aurora in metal mode, check out "The Seed" (music video), "Under the Water" live at Honda Stage or "All Is Soft Inside" live at KEXP. Check also her featuring in "Helvegen" with Wardruna.

Here for Aurora, there ain't nobody better. Aurora is her own genre, she writes hauntingly beautiful, melancholy songs written to shine a light on dark subjects. She is a lyrical genius, wonderfully quirky/weird and her songs are important. To many of her fans (Warriors and Weirdos) she is a soul healer.

No, her last name is Aksnes, Aurora Aksnes, she's Norwegian, born in summer 1996. She's a singer, song writer and composer, and dancer. Billie Eilish said that this song and MV, Runaway, made her want to make her own music (Billie Eilish talks about Aurora: th-cam.com/video/onyA0thNFDs/w-d-xo.html , 1m25s long).
Two things important to know about Aurora:
1- she brings her songs to another level live, as the true and genuine singing story teller she is. As exemple, check out privately this 3 live versions of Runaway:
AURORA - RUNAWAY - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert: th-cam.com/video/Fc7XWW_Ehb8/w-d-xo.html
AURORA - Runaway at 101.9 KINK | PNC Live Studio Session 2022: th-cam.com/video/4bbuR-qnFlg/w-d-xo.html
    and the first song of
Aurora: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert: th-cam.com/video/evBgLWQwAFA/w-d-xo.html
2- Her repertoire is very varied and her creativity extremely large. You could be very surprised, if you decide to explore a bit more of her musical world. We are many, of metalheads, to enjoy it a lot, and therefore herself.
    If you decide to come back to her one day, maybe try to react to;
Aurora - It Happened Quiet (Live at The Current): th-cam.com/video/9U-N6LqzdIM/w-d-xo.html
Anyway, thanks for reacting to Aurora, this awesome norwegian artist, whose voice can flow like the borealis lights.🙂👍

AURORA is from norway and 27 soon 28 years old, and she is not just a AMAZING out of this world good singer she is also an amazing human being with good values, she is unique and has so much passion in everything she does.
She is different from other artists. When she makes music she has something to say or tell us, her songs are never meaningless . Many artists sings about being out all night and fucking ect.
But her biggest passion and inspiration is mother nature. She does what she can for our planet earth and she has let her fans be a part of it, which I think is amazing. Her songs will always take up importan subjects. Many songs is about the mother earth.. you just have to know more about her story... well she grew up on a very little place in Norway far far away from the city and the quiet was loud. She was out in the woods all the time when she was little so much that her parents used a cowbell to call her in to dinner. She loooves the nature and is really passion about it and the human soul.. that we are to much ashamed to be us, be human... show emotions and being yourselves thats why she used the greek gods as her inspiration in her "the god we can touch" album because they were so open and had no shame. Her songs about the clima crisis creats sympathy and love for our planet even for the once that dosnt have the same level of passion as her. Her music also gives us hope, love and makes us feel importan She also takes action in what she preach about, everytime we buy something of her brand she plants a tree in south America. I have now planted 2 trees and It makes me feel good 💓
I recommend you to see her cop26 concert in that way you can see her speak about her passion and interact with the crowd. I think Aurora is the most authentic person you will ever see in the music industry. She is magic and such a big rolemodel. she have no shame, so free and so artistic. If you liked the audio you will love her live performances, you can really see art created on the stage every live is different. Her voice is angelic live and the music just take over her body and she become the music she is on a different planet and at the same time have the biggest stage presence ever, it is very interesting. Some people think she is to weired but i think she is awesome ❤

Aurora is a self-described metal-head, she has earlier many times mentioned Gojira as her favorite band. It's therefore not impossible that "Runaway" was influenced by "Mother nature", but still not so likely... Because Aurora wrote this song when she was 11 and she grew up in a household pretty much without Radio/TV. So, her early influence was limited to her parents' music; She mentions in particular classical music, Enya, Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen (she taught herself to play piano at 6 because she wanted to play the moonlight sonata).
Runaway was finalized and produced when she was around 16/17, with another person co-credited as writer and another producer, neither are particularly metal. It's of course possible for anyone to have been influenced, with or without being aware, as they may very well have heard the song you're thinking of randomly. It's just not very likely that there is an obviously direct and overt connection. Perhaps it is more likely that there is a common denominator in classical music?
Aurora has always had a strong desire and tendency to be alone in nature. Most of this video is shot near her parents' home in Norway, where she used to roam and feel at home, so that explains the visuals.

Billie Eilish watched this music video when she was 13, and she said several times it inspired her a lot to start her music career. If you want to hear her talk about it, search for "Billie Eilish taking about Aurora", there is one video from 2019 (recorded Oct 2018), and one from Nov 2022.

So, you have finally found Aurora😊. Lucky you. I just don't understand that you make a reaction video, which assumes that we also see your reaction and not just hear it, with sunglasses on? Eyes mirror a person's feelings as much as one's smile and that is part of a reaction video. Having said that, you can look forward to a rollercoaster feeling when you start your Aurora journey. You will discover an artist who, like no other, sends you on a journey into a world of emotions that you didn't even know you had. As many others will tell you, you must see her live performance. Looking forward to seeing more Aurora, maybe without your sunglasses.😂

Now I have to split my comment in two. I love Aurora for her authenticity and her versatility. For example, if you listen to "Cure For Me" (official video), "It Happened Quiet" (Live at The Current) and "Queendom" (official video), you'll know what I mean.
Regarding symphonic metal, I wanted to suggest a band (that you didn't have on your channel yet). Unlucky Morpheus. For example with the song “Black Pentagram” Live at Toyosu PIT
I guarantee you good entertainment ;-)
