I live in Glasgow, Scotland. And I've travelled much of the UK. I can assure you everything shown is 100% real. We have a truly spectacular nation. We're so lucky to be born here and call this place home.
Loch Lomond is my home, I'm very lucky to live here! Arran is lovely, I've walked the whole coast of it. I only got to visit Glenfinnan in the last few years. Well worth a visit even if you're not a Harry Potter fan! Never been inside Eilean Donan Castle, but passed by it quite a few times. Best shortbread brands are Chrystals and Borders. Walkers Shortbread is okay too though, you can buy it everywhere here. Skye is stunning, you could easily spend a week or more just there. There's a village right at the top end of Glencoe, but Glencoe is right on the edge of Rannoch Moor which is known as one of the last wildernesses in Europe. I've never been to Luskentyre beach, but I'm going there this summer, I can't wait! We have a lot of white sand beaches, especially in the northwest. I climbed the Wallace Monument last year. It's well worth a visit.
Love your reaction! It’s all real, I live there lol FYI I am a driver, and go past the Walkers shortbread factory about once a week, you would enjoy a visit there I am sure 😀
The small waterfalls that confused you in the video,.....was because the wind was so strong, that it was blowing the water,....UP,.....instead of it falling/flowing down.
All that you saw was Scotland, we have some of the most beautiful beaches in the whole of the UK. Clean white sand and clear blue waters. It's one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
Walkers shortbread is made here in (I am Scottish) Scotland, the pattern you talk about is called tartan, each family or clan has their own unique design
Scotland is my home country, and it's very real. It's rugged, hard, tough, and the highlands are the place where you find the people who are the same. It's stunningly beautiful and... I live in the Philippines
Nothing is CGI. It is all very REAL. There are many makers of Scottish Shortbread here in Scotland. There was very little in the way of urban areas in that video, 99% of it was Scenic Countryside, Islands & Coastline. Scotland has many places throughout where people live.
haha i live in ireland and i often have to ask myself if what im looking at is real, it was hot enough at the weekend to camp on white sandy beach in just a windcatcher always amazing to wake up and see the first thing you see is the ocean, you should look into ireland and northern ireland. Northern ireland has had a surge of immigration recently too you could maybe look into that, its a beautiful country and the more people taking interest in irish culture the better and even after travelling all over europe ireland is still at the top for me.
Think you nailed it btw...if allowed scotland can be a healing place (more scots should take that view) scotland is huge but empty..only 5 million or so..lots of land untouched..it can be healing....i love yhat you said that...its very very true ❤❤
The Scottish pattern on the Walkers Shortbread tin,....is called,....Tartan, there are many many kinds/colours/types of Tartan & there is much much more to it than that though. Have a wee Google about it.
I was born in Scotland and still live in Scotland, and i can assure you what your are looking at is not C.G.I it's real,, if you want to try short bread you should try tatti scones as well...
TO answer your question about getting to Dunnator castle, if somebody else hasn't already explained this, there is a path that takes you down the side of the cliffs and then, if I remember correctly, up through a tunnel and out onto the castle grounds. I have only been once a long time ago now, I live in Dundee :D
Everything you saw is very real, this why the world loves it so much, everything you saw is the Scottish peoples back garden, just a pity that most Scots never venture out into their garden.
The guy narrating that video couldn't pronounce some of the places correctly that he talked about,.....Dunnottar Castle for example plus in the video, that was spelt incorrectly too!
I started watching your video of Scotland but sadly stopped watching as you didn't seem interested at all in my wee country. What a shame, you're missing out.
You should check out the Cotswolds next if you think scotland looks unreal. In fact the whole of the British isles has some ridiculously stunning, fairytale places. ✌️♥️🇬🇧
@@scottjo76 yep, Scotland is majestic, but every part of the UK and Ireland has amazing places. From an foreigners point of view the Cotswolds has the fairytale thatched roof cottages and quaint little shops that many see in films. I can't say that one place is better than another because it's like comparing apples and oranges. Each area has its own merits. I think London is a magnificent city but I hate cities and prefer the countryside.
@@coot1925 Yeah exactly, all over the UK you'll find beauty in the landscapes....the beauty of the Cotswolds is a very different kind of beauty from the Scottish highlands and islands and that's the great thing about it, the variety of landscapes and buildings in such a relatively small area of land.
I know this guy who insists he's English, not British. He's a living parody of a typical St George flag waving idiot. Let's face it, we're all mongrels with DNA from all over the place. My parents were born in London but my grandfather was from Glasgow. My DNA has Scandinavian Briton, German, French etc. The only way to describe myself is British. That's why I'm so proud of the British isles as a whole and the amazing achievements we have made and which the rest of the world now benefits from. ✌❤🇬🇧
Shortbread, you can get it anywhere in the UK it's made in Scotland, but Scotland is in Britain. It's very cheap overhear . I'm going to the Philippines on 26th June. I land in manilla but then get another plane to CDO.
I live in Glasgow, Scotland. And I've travelled much of the UK. I can assure you everything shown is 100% real. We have a truly spectacular nation. We're so lucky to be born here and call this place home.
I was born in Glasgow and grew up there and I agree...
Glasgow is not one of them.

It’s easy to make Ruky. You’ll find plenty of recipes for it on the internet.
790 islands here in Scotland.. waterfall goes up
Yep all waterfalls in Scotland go up the way instead of down the way, that's why they are called upfalls...
