@@LIVINGINDALLAS I was a Mavs season ticket holder at the time so I loved being able to hop on the dart to go downtown. Also, would fly out of DFW a lot and would take the dart straight to the airport. I love how centrally located it is to so much.

I lived in s irving ( belt line and shady grove) for many years. Now it's all run down. Turned into Mexico. Stores falling apart.
This is common all the way to hwy 114. The irving mall turned into a cheap clothing network. Restaurants into taco stands.
It's horrible now. Even though Los Colinas is irving. It's really not. It's city of its own

I like the video but it can be misleading when the neighborhoods your showing are only Valley Ranch and Las Colinas . Still a great informational video, but it could be misleading to people who’ve never been to Irving . Those are just two neighborhoods

Just know that if you are planning to move to Irving, the trash is picked once a week if you ever get into any car accident, you may have to wait about two hours for the police to show up, Irving is lost in time.

I grew up in Irving. Lived here all my life went to MacArthur high. It was fun and awesome. It's still the same in a way. But they took out everything that was fun. And made it a great attraction. I hope it goes back to the way it was.

Irving is the best place to live in the DFW Metroplex if you want easy access to the cities, parks, culture, and the airports. I bought a home near the old downtown Irving area, near Baylor Scott & White…in Plymouth Park. I’ve got no regrets, and I’d make the move from the downtown Dallas area to Irving again in a heartbeat!! There are plenty of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment venues within a few minutes’ walk or drive!

I used to live on Rochelle and MacArthur Blvd. It was very convenient to use the buses until they took away the 508 and the 505 bus. That made it impossible to commute to work when you don't own a car. I like Irving and am thinking of moving back in a few months. I wonder how many changes have happened since i left in 2020, especially the increase in rent, crime, and homelessness.

I’ve never been to Dallas but can someone please tell me why so many of the yards are brown and there’s dead grass everywhere? Is there a drought or a swarm of locusts or something? I thought Dallas got a lot of rain, I’m so confused. I live in a place where there is a serious drought but our grass looks a lot healthier.

We had Bloods (Tree top) Crips (rolling 60's) Mexican sets MD. SUR Xii, X111, Latin kings, etc.... even some white boy Nazi skinheads. Ive lived in Valley Ranch, Las Colinas and central/south Irving. I loved being in Valley Ranch and Las Colinas but the rest of Irving is a total nightmare and an area to avoid. Im moving back to Las Colinas next month. I Went to Coppell Highschool around 2001-2002 and really loved it there compared to all the other schools I went to in my life. Ive lived all over texas and been to alot of schools. Im originally from Houston though.

Another attractive bonus to move to Irving Texas they now have the successful knife making business Cold Steel now based in Irving, back in the 90s I could buy cold steel imported knives and tools in NZ, but thanks to civilian mass shootings by an idealistic nut job, cold steel retractable batons, special forces shovels, sjambok walking sticks, any knife over 6 inches and throwing stars were systematically banned, just like all imported Chinese Norinco semiautomatic centre fire rifles and pump action shotguns with 6 shot box magazines limits or 6 shot loading capacity barrel cylinder internal magazines, they all needed a police approved license and a medical psych evaluation to be allowed to buy and own a gun and ammunition. Owning a handgun was doable but more expensive and a lot like climbing Mt Everest with jumping through rings of bureaucratic red tape.
