As someone who has lived in Keller their entire life, first off, Keller is a city that is NOT a part of Fort Worth. Depending on the zoning, the mentioned schools may not be a part of the Keller district. Yes, there is crazy development over there, but the traffic can be insanely backed up. I would recommend Roanoke or Trophy Club; there is more raw undeveloped land. Finding a decent property on more than 1/4 acre under $350k in Keller/Fort Worth is going to be a lot harder.
I am currently at city in CA has lots of ongoing construction and the housing market is still hot. But the affordability scare me away. Seems like Texas got a lot of potentials.
