I just got my doom alpha air 77 and it’s the perfect size for me being 6’1… I’m finding I like playing tighter in these days, it makes me more accurate/fast having my my elbows more bent and in towards my body, and I conserve much more energy than when I have my arms more extended out with a longer set up/bottle holding it out & up all day playing…
Discovered there's different variations of the SL2 77, which have a variation in size and length. One variation (I believe the one shown here) is much longer and heavier than the other version. The variation not shown is much closer in specs to the AlphaAir77, but is still a lil longer. Even still, AlphaAir looks to be leading the pack now.
Length and weight of 77 ci bottles (no regs): Alpha Air: 8.25" tall. 1 lb, 11.8 oz Ninja SL2: 9.5" tall. 2 lb. 0.9oz. Empire Ultralight: shorter than SL2, longer than Alpha Air. 1 lb. 14.5 oz. Infamous Skeleton Air. Longer than Alpha Air. 2lb 8 oz (gel coat adds weight). tl;dw: Alpha Air is lightest and shortest, but girthiest.

I'm confused cuz just looking at ANSgear's 6 year old video that weighed the ninja 77 tanks, the SL was 1lb14.7oz and the SL2 was 1lb11.8oz.

Is Carleton the actual tank manufacturer, and if so are they "extended life"UN/ISO 11119-2 as the FS and Immortal tanks are?
I like the tank, but I’m not a fan of the styling. I’d like just a matte black version with the pertinent information on it.
I wish they'd make them in a bigger size. Like a 90ci
