Would it be too thick if you put tissue on the other side as well so you don't see the foil? Also, do you need to let the glue sit a little before sticking on the tissue paper? Thought I saw that recommended before. If so, 20 seconds?
It won't be too thick if you put tissue paper on the other side as well, but make sure to wait before you put on the 2nd tissue paper (wait till the first paper is fully dry after putting the foil then put the second paper over it). About waiting for the glue to sit I don't think its needed aside from like 2-5 seconds.
Is there any other material that can replace tissue (such as paper, newspaper) to make tissue foil for origami?
i don't really know man, tissue paper is more common than unryu or mulberry but those are really good varieties, they tend to be a little bit thicker than tissue though
Hahaha the 8th thing, btw, Kade Chan, I also live in HK, can you please tell me where you get all these stuffs? Because I used and tried to make one but it never turned out good, i dont know which foil and glue and paper to use, and how much time do i need to let it dry

Do you need to treat the tissue paper first with mc or can you just use the foil and spray glue
you can do both, but the effect of the mc on the tissue won't matter since it'll be the foil that will determine the properties which is the metalic strenght it gives to the tissue since they will be glued together, unless you want the shiny side of the tissue, if that's the case you'll need to treat it first :) hope it helps

mira xD creo que no leiste bien o no sabes ingles el aclaro que podría ser cual quier papel y me párese que el aerosol es nada mas pegamento en aerosol instantáneo pero por si acaso aquí esta la traducción :Herramientas:

Pero podrias decirme que papel usas en el tissue? tengo entendido que el tissue paper es papel de seda pero el papel de seda que yo tengo (en venezuela) se ve diferente y de textura diferente e.e
aunque no se si sera por el aerosol porque yo siempre usaba pega liquida y seimpre me quedaba muy grueso el papel y a veces se rompia, pero gracias por decirme que sirve cualquier aerosol de pega
Yo la verdad pensaba que en el tissue usaban papel de china pero nunca lo pude encontrar ._.
pues mira, yo el papel que utilice fue papel calca (un papel bastante fino, o parecido creo que es el papel arroz) y me parece que con ese pegamento que tu tienes esta bien, te recomiendo que si usas un papel fino como el calca o el papel arroz uses hoja de lado y lado pero en si, cualquier papel es bueno, lo que sucede es que el Tisue foil es un papel especial, no es el mejor para origami, si quieres un buen papel para origami te recomiendo el papel américa, es bastante bueno o en todo caso puedes hacer uno que creo que se llama "double washed paper" que seria pegar dos hojas finas con un pegamento fuerte (como pegamento blanco o ese de aerosol) y que sea un papel fino ya que obtienes un papel mas o menos grueso (con el papel fino) pero es bueno y resistente.
:D espero que tengas suerte en conseguir un buen papel.

Lo que pasa es que donde yo vivo el papel esta escaso y caro xD depaso no puedo comprar por origami-shop e-e
Pero puedo preguntarte, como se llama un buen papel para plegar figuras grandes como el dragon antiguo de satoshi kamiya o el camaron mantis de andrey ermakov? siempre se me rompe la hoja o es demasiado gruesa para poder doblar y se torna muy tedioso

pues mira asta hora el papel mas accesible que e encontrado que sirve para usarse en piezas grandes es el papel "américa" si no lo encuentras con ese nombre busca uno que es como los comunes de un lado un color y de otro lado blanco pero en pliegues, aunque lo mas recomendable si quieres conseguir un buen papel de comprar te recomiendo pro mercado libre pero no se le puede comprar a todos, si te interesa ese modo de compra pro mercado libre te doy unos tips pero solo si te interesa que esto ya se alargo mucho xD slo avisame y hablamos
