Thank you! I just started my etsy shop and this was very helpful. The backing boards and cello bags idea was a even bigger help when I was selling my work at a vendors event recently
Sure, you're welcome! I use several companies for different purposes. If you google "fine art printing", you'll find some of the top ones. Some of them offer free samples of their paper and I highly recommend getting those to compare and see what's right for you. Hope that helps!
I love how you voice over to your videos 💕it’s really clear and detail but also feel so calm😇😇😇looking forward for your more videos ✨ I am from Taiwan, in Asia but currently living in foreign country myself And also want to try to sell some artworks but really worry, afraid and don’t know how to start it . After watching your videos and what you share with us. It does really motivated me to get start it and give it a try 💪💪💪learned so much thanks so much 💕💕looking forward to your new videos!!
Glad you liked it! There are some things to figure out when you start selling artwork, but once you work it all out, it is a pretty simple product to sell. Good luck with your journey.
Hello Pauline😊thank you so much for sharing your tips! As a packaging-maker for art prints my hubby sells, I would ask you which weight are the cardboard backers you use and, most of all, if you think the combo cardboards+ rigid mailers is sturdy enough to send out safely your largest artworks? thanks!! And, by the way, now I finally know which class I'll take the first on Skillshare... Yours seems just amazing!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️
I just use the cardboard backers from a company called Clearbags, not sure of the weight, but they are specifically for artwork. Yes, I do feel the cardboard/rigid mailer combo is sufficient, but only up to about 11x14". Prints larger than that would be rolled up and shipped. Hope that helps!
Oh yes, thank you, your advice is very helpful! I was unsure about the 11x14 format, I feared it was already too big to be shipped flat! I'll try your method, for sure. Thanks again Pauline✨✨✨
Bonjour, merci pour ta vidéo 😍🤗 Est ce qu’il serait possible de savoir où tu achètes les enveloppes et tout le matériel pour l’expédition. Ta chaîne est super merci ☺️
Hi Pauline, Thanks for this great video and all your helpful advice. Do you have a company you prefer for shipping tubes? I have 12 x18 prints to send and wondering if this is the best way to ship.
hey! nice art that you do. can i know from where do you buy your backing boards and plastic bags ? i was looking on amazon and didnt really found good offers. thanks
id love to see how you make art prints. Like is it digital? Whenever i send a digital art print to be printed, it always comes back different than how it looked on the computer- like different coloring. Maybe im just not using good printer companys??
Some of my art is traditional painting and some is digital. Different companies and papers will product slightly different colors. I would suggest googling "fine art printing", the first page will show some of the most popular ones and you can sometimes get sample papers from them. Ultimately, I would try out the different papers too to see what works best for you.
Wherever you create your shipments (Shopify, Etsy, or something like Shipstation), all have options to ship via USPS First Class mail if the package is under 1 pound.

I think it would be interesting to talk a little bit about how you manage to work as an illustrator and take care of two kids.
Thanks for the idea, I will definitely keep this in mind. :)
You seem to have it all together! Thank you for sharing. Who do you use for printing your artwork?

I don't send many large prints in house, but I have gotten tubes from Papermart before. I know you can also get them on Uline, Amazon, etc.

Thanks for sharing!! Where did you find the cardboard backing inserts?
Clearbags
How did you start selling at local brick and mortar shops? Did you reach out and inquire or reverse? I'd love to start doing this.
A lot of them used to find me through Etsy or Instagram, now many find me through Faire (a wholesale platform I am on).
Hello! I would like to know how you added the "Usps First class". I did research about it, but only stamps popped up.
Wherever you create your shipments (Shopify, Etsy, or something like Shipstation), all have options to ship via USPS First Class mail if the package is under 1 pound.
Thank you for the video! On average how much is shipping cost through Ship Station? Thanks!
Depends on size and weight of the package, but for something like these art prints, about $3 or $4 with first class mail.
Where do you buy the clear plastic bags/what are they called?
