usually you can buy stuff in bulk for extremely cheap when looking at individual costs of each item. surprisingly prints come very cheap so i highly doubt she’s loosing money ^^
Your packaging is so cute! A good bubble mailer size for enamel pins (or anything packaged on a business card sized backing) is the A/000. You can also get large letter PIP boxes in C6 size if you want a more sturdy and eco friendly option 👍

Just the encouragement I needed to get!!! I have been spending all day figuring out supplies, shipping materials, shipping costs, etc. for my upcoming sticker shop!!! Although going out the extra mile is extremely important, this is a never ending process and there are so many resources out there and trying to find the best of the best will result in never even starting up!! so thank you Catherine, I find your videos very encouraging and as you said I will get my first product out there and keep on improving with time

I have a suggestion! You might not need it, but if you print the enamel pin backing paper with a tiny dot in the center, you will be able to stick the pin in the center every time!

Hi Catherine, did you know you are missing the main & most important information from the CN22 when you are filling them in? This is why you are probably still getting them stuck. You must add the tariff codes without that you may as well not bother even doing the CN22 as you aren’t helping the situation. I can help if you need help. All sent with love & best wishes. Thanks for the video, very informative! How do you determine the shipping costs? Do you weigh your packages prior to taking the packages to the post office? What are some mistakes you made in the beginning in regards to shipping?
Just a suggestion: you could try cutting the A4 bubble mailer in half when you send just 1 enamel pin, then close it with tape. Since it has the business card facing the pin, it is protected enough in my experience. Just to reduce the amount of plastic per item.

I love this so much, I'm so thankful you talked about the large letter sizing and such in UK because working out what ships in what size was putting me off opening for ages, and I didn't even know those large letter boxes existed so I'll be sure to get some!
Thank you for sharing. It's annoying how not a lot of businesses share these behind the scenes workflows. Aside from shipping I've been researching ways on how to handle/process the shipping orders and manage inventory. Not many of those either.
