- A huge thank you to everyone who's supported our wee channel so far, if you'd like to help support our wee adventures you can do it through through our Ko-Fi or Patreon.
All our videos are hand made from 100% organic ingredients ;). Our content is mostly filmed on a GoPro 11 with a Rode fluffy microphone to keep the wind noise down, with occasional bits on an iPhone13. We also use a DJI Mini 3 drone which we're loving getting to grips with.
We make our own music using GarageBand and the videos are edited in iMovie.
If you'd like to buy DeNiro a biscuit (and he's a good boy, honest) you can via our Ko-Fi link at www.ko-fi.com/ScotlandOnAShoes....
If you'd like to become a patron of our wee channel we also have a patreon at / scotlandonashoestring
We also have an Etsy shop where we sell some of our hand made items. It's at dandbbythesea.etsy.com
Dundee has many really neat sculptures, love the dragon, the squirrel and all the cartoon characters. Very interesting trip.
Thank you 🤗
The position of that grand monument is perfect. Don't blame DiNiro not jumping that high. Don't think the strength is in the back of the greyhound.
Good you had some nice weather to counterbalance.
Really appreciate you letting us tag along. 🌻🦋
He can do it just fine when there’s a biscuit in it for him 😜
When we first got a computer in the late 1980s, ahh, more like early 1990s, played lemmings. Was the best!!!
I don’t think they were changing course for DeNiro…they probably wanted to avoid their pup going ballistic.
Another awesome video!!! Sorry for being a broken record, but thanks again for sharing your adventures with us. 👍🏼
Thank you, as always, for tagging along!
Dundee is awesome. Geography review is helpful. Thanks for taking the time and explaining things well. Thanks for bringing back "Word of the day".
No worries!
I loved lemmings! Just noticed you can play it online now 😀 Lots of great history & an amazing graveyard too!
Can you?? There goes what’s left of my evenings!
@@scotlandonashoestring hahaha yup so it would seem.....who needs sleep when you can help save lemmings 😂
Good morning from a very humid and warm Canada. (at least it is in MY part of Canada)
Hello!
Unicorn never had masts &sails..She was only used as training hull because she was built too late for the Napoleonic war she was never rigged.Although in the design she could have been masted & sailed without any problems like her sister ships of the Leda Class...Cheers for the vid...HMS Trincomalee is the only other survivor of the Class and is masted & sailed preseved in Hartlepool
Ahh, thank you!! A trip to Harltepool could be on the cards.
All I can say is "ohhhhh noooooo BOOM " that's what usually happened when I played lemmings 🤣
Me too! I wonder how many thousand times 😜
Great visit!
Thank you!
Great video as always - thank you! I watched another Scottish video earlier today where they made a brief visit to a really interesting looking cemetery in a place called Kilmartin, would be a great place to visit for your other channel.
What do you mean you watch other videos??!!?? Kilmartin is now on the list. :)
@@scotlandonashoestring sorry! 😂😂😂
I didn’t know there were any other channels :) We’ve got to get back to The Howf. Didn’t even scratch the surface.
@@scotlandonashoestring if you want to check it out, it’s Scotland History Tours (if I’ve remembered it right).
❤
No picking on Methil (even if you do live there and are allowed!). Whyte Rose Terrace is where my grandfather lived until he died in 1969. My Aunt lived on Toll Avenue.
Great views from the houses in Whyte Rose Terrace
If you go to the National Historic Ships' site (sorry I can't post it because TH-cam will delete my comment) you can see a picture there from 1968 of the HMS Unicorn with her rigging. No sails but at least you can see what the rigging looked like.
I wonder if they'll restore her. I guess without rigging she'll be easier to cover with a canopy
A timely vid for us! We'll be in iona in one week, then over to fife, and dundee! Any hints you can give for bottle pits? We are staying in Dunfermline, but still have four more days to explore after mudlarking for a week. Do you know of any festivals, art fairs, or European board game stores in the area? We'll be in Fife from 14-21 may. Thanks for any suggestions for must see places in your area!
Hiya. Sorry, just going through our comments, waaaaay behind!! Hope you had a great visit.
scarily we were in Dundee at the weekend and past the howf and i mentioned to my wife i wonder if you guys had been here .when we got back to the van and put you tube on your vid was the first to come up google or big brother is listening in lol
I think Big Brother definitely listens in :) Amazing how much Dundee has improved over the past few years.
Apologies, we're behind with our TH-cam viewing! Catching up!
Have you visited the Lochcarron Tartan Mill in Selkirk? Think you might like it! Ask nicely in the shop and they take you around the factory.
Nope, but we’re going to the one in Moffat soon. Bex loves it. Bus loads of tourists and all the tat you could ever want.
@@scotlandonashoestring haha yes! And a cracking graveyard!
