Thank you for mentioning tahini substitute, tahini is so expensive here! Edit: I'm thinking you could use butternut squash in place of pumpkin. I have pints of butternut on shelf.
Try to make tahini at home by roasting/toasting sesame seeds and then grinding it up in a blender or a food processor. You can add oil too to make things easier for the machine.

We had a weird shortage for a good 6-8 months in my area, tahini. Idkw. Finally one day it returned but only at sprouts right now. I could still get pre-made hummus but not make my own. I prefer it made with tahini. Thank goodness it's back, I bought two
This sounds really good. But if you want smooth creamy hummus substitute your chickpeas for lima beans. They make the best hummus. I’m definitely going to try this. Thanks for sharing.
@@lindarichey4689 once you put all your flavoring in you’ll never know they’re there. They’re like a lot of other vegetables they take on the flavor of what you add to them. I don’t like lima beans either. But they make a great hummus. I find it chickpeas are almost gritty.

I definitely want to try this, I make hummus on a regular basis. Tahini is actually very easy to make, sesame seeds, olive oil and salt I use a magic bullet, fresh is soooooo tasty
I made your recipe for sausage and sweet potato hash. 🧡🤎 It was delicious! I plan to make a large pan, section it in serving size portions & freeze them for a quick breakfast when there is no time to cook. Love it❣
