I've been on and off crocheting as a hobby for the past couple years and this is the first time I've managed to finish a project (that doesnt look horrid). Thank you so much!!
I made mine in green but it took me about 200g, its lovely and I adore the end result, thank you so much for the detailed tutorial I loved following it. I used 4 of the Drop Paris and a 5mm hook. Best of luck to anyone giving it a try, I'm sure you'll love it as much as I did!
I have been crocheting for a year and this was the hardest project I have made. You were very thorough and I finally finished after a few days. Thank you.
this is an amazing tutorial: trust me when I say that I’ve been watching so many tutorials for mesh bags but they are either too fast, or they have no option for the width of the strap, or the bag has a base that is too tiny or huge. this checks all the boxes of a thorough tutorial too - will definitely be making this bag:)
I've seen so many crocheted bags, you're the only one who explains the oval base in such detail and simplicity. Just finished my two-toned bag. I'll tag you on IG when I post the picture. ❤
this is perfect timing!! i’ve been looking for a bag pattern exactly like this🥰 thanks for the always wonderful tutorials and remember to take care of yourself💗
hi there! i have started crocheting a month ago, and this was the first "big" project which i have attempted and succeeded! even though it's not as sleek and neat as yours, but i am so proud of myself. this was made possible because of this detailed, extensive and patient tutorial of yours!!! thank you so so much, i cannot wait to learn more from you and create more beautiful yet functional pieces :D
I really like your tut. I am advanced, but I see that you are explaining for beginners too, so that is very helpful, because this tutorial is perfect for all crocheters! Thank you soooo much for sharing!
Found a lots of tutorials about tote bag crochet but this video is the best. This is my second project so far after the bucket cap using your tutorial as well. Thank you for sharing your learnings in crochet, keep posting more videos. You’re the best. ❤
@@jmfootsteps okay thanks but I'm not good enough to make it so maybe next time yk but I was making it for a concert but I'm out of time we are already leaving so ya
I finished this bag yesterday. IT TURNED OUT SO PERFECT SO CUTE 🥳🥳🥳🥳 THIS MIGHT BE THE BEST THING I'VE EVER CROCHET! Thank you for this tutorial🐢💝 You explained everything clearly, it's so easy to follow. I used non-mercerized cotton yarn it did not turn out very stretchy. I'm so happy with the size and the pattern 🤭🌷✨
Great video! The only thing I changed was splitting it into two straps, came out perfect!! I wouldn't have been able to do it without such clear instructions
Thankyou so much for the tutorial! I was looking for a vid to make myself a mesh bag for my upcoming party at school to match with a dress, and this helped me alot >>>♡
Made this using milk cotton yarn and it came out too small. Way too small for me so I gave it to my niece. Cute bag tho. Will try to make another one for me when I find 24/7 cotton.
Absolutely love it! Looks so good 😭 and it was easy to make! The only thing I'll do differently next time is make two straps so i can open the bag better
the tutorial is very simple and well explained thank you so much i just finished the bag but mine ended up small idk if it was because of the hook (i used a 2.0 mm one) or because of the yarn (mine doesn't stretch much)
Me crocheting this for 5 hours straight making this bag becuase I forgot to get my friend a birthday present 😭 it turned out so pretty tho she better like it.
thank you so much 🤍I made this and it’s beautiful and I’m happy with it but I have one problem my bag stretching when I put something into it and that’s ruining the shape ): what mistake I did it
i had the same mistake. you should do 2 double crochets in one stitch only 6 times when making the first curve but when you go straight you need to do only one double crochet in every stitch. after you continue to make a curve the same way but you have to make 2 double crochets in 12 stitches and then proceed with 1 double crochet in each stitch. hope i made myself clear
Hi, I have a quick question 😅. What do I do if the number of stitches is uneven. I am about to do the straps but I counted that I have 69 doublecrochets (I did my base a bit wider. Meaning that when I mark the stitches on the edge I have 33 stitches on one side and 34 on the other 😅. Did I completely mess up? Help please.
I want to make this bag in two colours, as I don't have enough of either colour. Would you please suggest where I should start changing colours? Every two rows of the body? Or perhaps 4?
Finally i found it my mom's been asking me to crochet this bag for her and i don't know the pattern so I've searching the pattern for months now finally!! I found it i gonna make it one for my mom❤

@@Himynameisstrawbereyoh that’s okay, i only do this in my free time. And btw make sure to choose a nice yarn to crochet, it also helps. 😊
Hi! Did you finish the project? If yes, how much yarn did it take you? If not, how much yarn do you think it'll take? Thanks!
I've followed so many similar tutorials and this is the only one that has worked for me so far!
So glad you addressed that hole because this is why I’ve always avoided this base style.
Omg thank you for this tut i really want to strat again after almost a year of not crocheting. Im going to buy yarn tomorrow and start
You should make a written pattern for those who find it easier (no problem if you already have one)
I just finished mine. I used two colors and it looks so cute!
Thank you so much, the tutorial is very clear and easy to follow. I watched almost 5 videos to make the strap until i reached your video.

I want to make this bag in two colours, as I don't have enough of either colour. Would you please suggest where I should start changing colours? Every two rows of the body? Or perhaps 4?

heyy i have 100 grams of yarn, what changes do i make so i can make this bag?
The easiest way is to make it shorter, so do about half the number of rounds I did for the body.
