I have 60 snare drums in my collection, this one is top 3. It as it all. People who want a Tama Bell brass but cannot afford it, this is a good one to try. Man, you are a beast on drums. Cheers.
@@Eric_Cartman83 Gretsch bell brass with Duluth cast hoop and my Yamaha Manu Katche with wood hoop. Number 4 would be DW Edge 13x7 and 5 a Pearl ultracast 14x6,5.
This video helped pushed me to finally order this snare. I’ve wanted one for a while. It will be delivered today. Thanks for making these! Tama copper is next on my list.
Sounds great. I really like the medium but I may be in the minority. Your kick doubles are killer too. Love to see an ACD/ Czarcie Kopyto head to head.
Maybe my question will sound silly, I own a SLP Big Black snare, I would like to know how does it compare to it... Will it sound similare or it would be a great addition... I play mostly rock and metal but also country and blues
Can the shell be rotated 180`without affecting its overall operation-? I don't drum, but wonder if snare tension actuation can be unaffected by rotating the shell within the [rims], for example. The red logo is definitely garish... and a Sharpie marker job would seem, uh, underkill, here
One of my favorite snares from Tama!
John Tempesta's snare collection is ridiculous. He created the ultimate snare from his knowledge
Wow! Thanks for putting these snare drum reviews in a metal context application, something that many of us were looking for! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 great content!
The medium tuning 🔥🔥

@@iantouzel638 all well known. Thanks for your answer!
I really like the way the brass shell is not drowned out during the blast beats. It's an effortless expression. Thanks David
Your playing is *clean* af bro! Very nice! Snare sounds killer, as does the entire kit.
Very sweet Love your Drumming bro just Amazing.
That medium tuning is where it's at

@@Woobuz for me a good snare is awesome in every tuning and this is a good one! Usually I prefer higher tuning but yes, sounds well in mid too.

for me the medium tuning sounds the best, punchy but not to high pitched at the end
