Those recipes all look like keepers! I grew up on casseroles. My mom was always stretching our meat with pasta, rice, potatoes and beans. She made a similar recipe to the taco skillet, she called it Ranchero. She added a can of kidney beans. She served it homemade cornbread.

Hello Sammi! I hope you enjoyed your vacation! I'm going to try a few of these recipes. Looking delicious!
I can suggest a little different spin on that first recipe of chicken and potatoes:
1. Put your cubed potatoes in the bottom of your slow cooker, season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Your choice to peel potatoes or not.
2. Layer your cubed raw chicken over the potatoes. Season with a little salt, pepper, paprika. Go easy on the salt here.
3. Pour half bottle of Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce over the chicken. Do NOT add any liquid.
4. Cook on low until your potatoes are fork tender.
5. Stir chicken and potatoes in slow cooker, then top with a cup of shredded mozzarella.
6. Put lid back on, and let cheese melt.
Serve it up! 😃

I don't like ranch seasoning but if your son likes it I will give it a try, I don't like any kind of garlic near potatoes so I will season mine the way we all like them salt and pepper,my mama said as long as you have salt and pepper you don't need anything else 😊

Thank you so much for this my dad who usually does a lot of the cooking and who me and my husband and our daughter live with is going to get permanent dentures so he’s going through a major surgery and won’t be able to eat solid foods for long time so I will be in complete control of all meals for me and my husband and our daughter and I will definitely try a few of these recipes I love the crockpot haven’t cooked in it in a long time but it’s nice to have 😂❤

Be glad you were not in Mississippi yesterday or today (6/24, 6/25). I live in Mississippi and we are under an heat advisory for both days.. heat index 106 6/24. What pasta would you recommend in place of tortellini. I don't like cheese filled pastas. I actually can't stand any pasta that's filled with anything that's not ground beef. I don't want to make my own, like I do with ravioli. Ravioli is easy, I don't think tortellini is going to be easy. Thank you for sharing.
