You know what I love to do in my 8X8 baking pan? Mix 1/2 a White cake mix, 1 egg, half the oil it specifies on the box, 2 heaping T. Of sour cream & 1/2 the amt of Milk instead of the water. Then add whatever fresh fruit/pie filling with Brown sugar & butter underneath the batter, and make it an upside down cake with any fruit available on hand, thats incl. bananas too! Then cook according to box.👌 I have to have a Cake available at all times in my fridge!

These look amazing! Those Butter Pecan brownies are calling my name. Another use for the butter pecan cake mix is Butter Pecan poke cake. It uses a can of the coconut pecan frosting in the cake mix too. I usually top it off with Cool Whip. So delicious! Look it up. 😊

I have made the German chocolate cake and it is delicious. You wouldn’t think adding the icing to the cake batter would make a difference, but it does. Yum

I've made that inside out fmgerman chocolate cake for years and it's always a hit! Actually the recipe I have calls for a butter pecan mix but either one works well. Yum!
