I love that this is marketed as a wargaming/painting channel with a USP of being MS/disability orientated, but actually that's pretty much ancillary and in reality it's a wargaming/painting channel with a USP of having the highest production values of any channel on TH-cam for anything.

I got one of these recently, be warned if you are in the UK it will cost you £50 Brexit tax. 🇬🇧
I can also say its just made of ply and I didn't get the sexy strap/handle combo, although I did get the new light holder, so cheers Dave.
With the tax and the addons this set me back £180. For a little ply box. But, given I don't have any room to set up anything permanent I would buy it again.
I thought "it's Lazer cut plywood" when wood was brought up in the video. It's a nice box but the money they want for it is way too high. Like buy the materials AND the tools to make it yourself for less too high.
It's also bizarre that nothing on the website has a price until you click into each item. Just painful.

I do have to say though, if I traveled anywhere to paint, then I'd definitely pick this up. It looks really well designed and thought out.

This is definitely the best review I have seen for the Frontier Wargaming case. The opening sequence was stupendous and I really appreciated the breakdown of what the case can hold, I didn't realise it could hold so much.
Not always the prettiest packing, but it can certainly hold it! Haha

As for the case, idea is awesome. But $164AUD + Postage. So properly close to $200AUD total. Thats a bit steep for what looks like thin laser cut MDF/Plywood.
Note: exposure to excessive moisture or high-temperature conditions can cause the plywood to warp.
So it is just cheap plywood thats been laser cut.

I just ordered the bigger one,the chest. It's not only portable but also can hold almost my whole painting stuff and replace my improvised ikea/3d printed solutions. I can't wait to get it. I'll probably stand at the window every day waiting for it 🤣

I think I might buy this for my dad's 60th. Seems perfect for a quick set up and paint sessions.
Does he move around alot? Nah. Does he frequently change location for extended periods of time? Only if you count sofa to bed.
He does, however, have a hobby monster that sighs and moans every time paint is in the air. I know this creature of creative bemoaning.

Love the action scene at the beginning. I'm super glad that you're well enough to have shot that scene actually. Ya'll did a pretty good job of hiding the fact that those were airsoft guns too!

That box really is amazing. Currently I don't travel with my paint equipment at all, partly for fear of damaging or losing things. I think I'd feel confident to paint while away with this though, great video! :)

Cheers for the review. Lol. My last wet palette was a chinese food container, with kitchen roll / greaseproof. One that fits with the set is a great idea. I got a TINY workspace. Like two foot square and this could be an excellent solution to scrabbling around through boxes to find a pin vise or something and a lamp is genius. Methinks i'll get myself one for xmas
