How you clean the black part i can’t take it out even when unscrewing the rotary knob i don’t understand how to clean it if someone can explain to me how or better make a video to how to clean it please🙏🏼
wish you had covered cleanup! Does the heating pan come off the electronic part? Is it dishwasher safe? do you remove the metal stir rod to clean? the review seems incomplete without this.
Hi, I am wondering how do you clean the base from the oil and corn remains stuck in the groove ? after I used it, I wiped the metal surface by using a sponge with a dish soap and I tried to wash the surface only and avoid the rest of the body, is it right thing to do or you use a better way? thanks
We got one of these for Christmas and want to return it... clean up is a pain in the ass, it burns the popcorn unless you baby sit the damn thing, and it's difficult to get the popcorn without burning yourself. Big swing and a miss in my opinion. I also got really upset when the measuring cup popped off and got oil all over my counter. Not a good product.
Come on, this was a complete mess. It would be nightmare to clean. And for the hot air popper - can't you just store it lying on the side? It takes less space as it's sqare-ish, compared to this huge round bowl.
No. Occasionally you may need to add a white vinegar and lemon juice solution to prevent oily grime from building up and use a soft toothbrush as suggested to work the solution into the heating pan. Then some hot water to wash away the cleaning solution and the popper should look new.
I find that ghee gives you that movie theater popcorn taste and it doesn’t burn as easily as regular butter. I also salt the ghee a bit.
I love mine. My friend sent me one for my birthday two years ago. I’m
In the mood for popcorn now.
Literally just took mine out the box. Excited to use it tonight after dinner cause I love popcorn so much!
I bought one today (11/14) at Kohl’s. It was on sale plus I got 15% off with a coupon. Can’t wait to try it tonight! Thanks for doing the review.
Is the bowl plastic or glass ?
plastic
I love that you used Kerrygold butter. It's the only butter I use.
Same!
Why only Kerrygold please
I've been using Kerrygold for years now. It simply tastes better than the other butters.
I only use two drops of oíl olive at the bottom and only in one side i put the popcorn and it is very easy to clean.
thanks for the tip!

How clean you you need it to be? Just wipe the base with a paper towel after its cooled down.
Does grease go flying out of the top vents during the popping process?
Can you use that lid? Or was the lid not made to be used during popping?
How many kernels are left unpopped? I make mine on the stove old skool way and too many are left over.
How is it after a year

I had the same questions
I just got it. The rod comes off but the plate doesn't. They say to just wipe with a damp spung or cloth
How do you get the rod off ours was given to us and tge rod came out of the machine already @naruagawa
@@duncanhawk4500I just got mine, and I’m unsuccessful so far but you’re supposed to turn the rotary knob counterclockwise to remove the stirring rod
Good demonstration hands.
Thanks 👍
Your butter didn't melt, better to premelt it, and pour it over once flipped.
Thanks!
Thinner slices of butter will work, too. It melts faster.
Thats the best popcorn maker
This is cute, but mine doesn’t look like that. Mine is smaller and it doesn’t have that measuring part so yours looks a little bit taller than mine.
Whats up with all the butter you left in the top?
+KG Simple Reviews I bet there were no leftover unpopped popcorn kernels. That would be amazing if that's true!
Great review: I can't wait to try Carmel & Kettle corn recipes. I will follow your next review. GOOD JOB.
Awesome! Thank you!
Caramel is better than "carmel".

try a soft toothbrush
Tried it...the measuring lid doesn't stay on.
Does the stirring bar fit in the groove on the spinning disc in the center? I can't get it to fit in there after cleaning it.
same here and im losing my mind. Did you ever fix this?
@@TheChosen1inc No. I don't even have it anymore. I moved out of state and took it to goodwill I think.
Can you add in jalapeños to make it spicy
Is the bowl plastic or glass ?
Plastic
Was the popcorn crunchy or chewy?
crunchy!

oh no! I'm sorry it didn't work out for you!
You're doing it wrong.
It’s not really an air popper. It makes better popcorn 😊
Mine is coming tonight

I going to get one of these.
Thanks!
Welcome!
This is NOT an air popper. It is a small portable version of a movie theatre popper. Great review and video. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I’m sorry to say, it’s not an air popper if oil is involved??? And many comments about the “bucket cap” falling off easily. Keep exploring….
I didn’t put any oil in my machine and it turned out great! Just like air popped popcorn but even better I think! I love this popcorn machine!
I buy microwavable popcorn ezier
Toxic crap.
Dangerous too
I like it but it’s giant
That’s about as small as they get for home use lol
This machine keeps burning my popcorn.
Oh no! I didnt have that problem
@@KGSimpleReviews luckily I found a solution I think I just kept the machine to pop the kernels. I'm used to the fountain like popcorn machine.
I find that the bigger kernels work far better. You have to really listen and turn it off a little earlier. That worked for us.
This is a copy of the best popcorn popper of all time; the West Bend Stir Crazy.
