Well yeah, but the opening doesn't really count as part of the OST, it's much more of an iconic way to identify the anime, and even then, the opening did get put into the OST in Root A, as an acoustic arrangement which i think is probably the best thing they could've done.
Most of the Tokyo ghoul songs to me are so emotional. Maybe because they made the characters and the songs relate in so much emotion and meaning. Its enough to make a grown man cry. Literally. The animators and composers made the scenes of this anime, no. This masterpiece of a show so beautiful in its own ways. Of how little shows can make such a connection and feel emotion through just a couple songs. This is always going to be one of the best anime’s of its time and will never be overthrown.

It's totally true, as a pianist, this is very accurate. Pianos are just like a lot of persons that walk at your side carrying you to the world that you create when a piece is bootyful and gives you chills.

Every night when I go to the living room to turn off the lights I can't help but smile at her. She's sitting there so beautifully in the corner of the room. Humidity control system showing that lovely green light signalling she's okay. Then checking my hygrometer, and turning off the light. It's like I'm verbally telling her good night somehow and so is she. It sounds really weird if you're not a pianist, but sometimes you really feel like you're communicating with your instrument. And when I wake up she's there for me. The only thing in my life that will always be there for me

This is a song where I had realized the beauty of music for the first time ever when I was a kid. I remember watching Tokyo Ghoul, and hearing this song in the scene where Anteiku is about to be raided and it is snowing in Tokyo. I immediately looked up the name of the song and couldnt stop hearing it non-stop. It was the first time ever that I thought music was so beautiful. I could hear each instrument along with the vocals in separation. The piano, the bass, the subtle maracas, and the vocals all in harmony but individually. As a kid it left too much of strong impression on me. I used to live in Osaka at the time, and as rare as snow in Tokyo and Osaka is, it started snowing right as I was on top of the Umeda Sky Building, where the roof is open. I was coincidentally listening to this at the time, and it started snowing. I was watching the cityscape as it was snowing and this song in earphones. Its a moment that will be very hard to relive, and one that I will cherish forever. I am now a college student in Tokyo, listening to this on the longest night of the year, December. I hope everyone who listens would enjoy this masterpiece as much as I did. Thank you.

No one will probably see this but this was by far my favorite song that I had ever heard from an anime. Watching tokyo ghoul season three hurts my heart because I feel like it has taken such a different turn and I wish it was how it used to be. I remember I was in eighth grade when I watched the last episode of season two and now I’m soon going to start my final year of highschool. Time flies. Coffee in Tokyo Ghoul is symbolic. It's always a reminder for Kaneki on what Yoshimura thought to him through "perfect" brewing of coffee that connects people while conversing or simply having a peaceful time. And Yoshimura wanted that peace. And the coffee was the tangible symbol of that. Which is why its sad when everything or mostly in Tokyo Ghoul, all about tragedy

Such a beautiful piece. I played piano for 5-6 years (not very long in the piano world). I started playing the sax and devoted most of my time to that so now I’m very rusty at piano. The sax is cool and all but music like this just can’t be portrayed on the sax without a full band. This inspire me to get back to piano to get good. Good job man. Keep up the good work

3 years ago you inspired me to start playing the piano. I had no clue it was anime music or even what anime was to be quite honest. You're style of playing and arranging has influenced my playing so much but not to say I'm a clone of what you do, but rather helped me shape my style of writing and playing. Now, the reason I say this is because this particular piece reminded me of the same exact feeling your music gave me when I first came across your channel. 何回聞いても美しい
This is a song where I had realized the beauty of music for the first time ever when I was a kid. I remember watching Tokyo Ghoul, and hearing this song in the scene where Anteiku is about to be raided and it is snowing in Tokyo. I immediately looked up the name of the song and couldnt stop hearing it non-stop. It was the first time ever that I thought music was so beautiful. I could hear each instrument along with the vocals in separation. The piano, the bass, the subtle maracas, and the vocals all in harmony but individually. As a kid it left too much of strong impression on me. I used to live in Osaka at the time, and as rare as snow in Tokyo and Osaka is, it started snowing right as I was on top of the Umeda Sky Building, where the roof is open. I was coincidentally listening to this at the time, and it started snowing. I was watching the cityscape as it was snowing and this song in earphones. Its a moment that will be very hard to relive, and one that I will cherish forever. I am now a college student in Tokyo, listening to this on the longest night of the year, December. I hope everyone who listens would enjoy this masterpiece as much as I did. Thank you.

Coffee in Tokyo Ghoul is symbolic. It's always a reminder for Kaneki on what Yoshimura thought to him through "perfect" brewing of coffee that connects people while conversing or simply having a peaceful time.
And Yoshimura wanted that peace. And the coffee was the tangible symbol of that. Which is why its sad when everything or mostly in Tokyo Ghoul, all about tragedy

Such a beautiful piece. I played piano for 5-6 years (not very long in the piano world). I started playing the sax and devoted most of my time to that so now I’m very rusty at piano. The sax is cool and all but music like this just can’t be portrayed on the sax without a full band. This inspire me to get back to piano to get good. Good job man. Keep up the good work
