WE WON : DMCA LIFTED.
Today we're celebrating a victory against copyright madness.
We won, but at what price. Vast majority of music nowadays is possesed not by composers but by very large record label with little regard to the rights of interprets and smaller artists. I hope this will be an example to advocate for a more balanced industry between big industry majors and small independant artists. There is laws and international agreements protecting us after all, to facilitate the performance of copyrighted music and overriding local laws.
We still had a lot of legal costs during the process so if you'd like to support us, Spotify and Patreon are very precious options!
It's now time to let Attack on Titan rest.
At least until October... ;)
And itâs time to start to move on and to show you what's next for us.
You love to see it!
I do hope they balance the scales on DMCA. Its been absurd for years and often seems to hold artist back more of then than it helps protect them. (on You tube at least)
HOLY SHITE THEY'VE DONE IT
iâm so glad the video is back!!! i came to this several times during my week to listen to it but noticed it was gone, but now iâm so happy itâs back!!! well done guys!
Really glad and a relief to hear, have been waiting for this update. Will be funding what I can soon. Just sad I couldn't get the album in timeðĒ Congrats to all involved for not giving up, you deserve it and to feel proud for it. Thank you from just another grateful anonymous fanðð

I'd never imagined AOT getting this level of appreciation from the musical community. âĪâĪ
Hiroyuki Sawano is a great composer. Probably one of the most uncommon japanese composer (in the sense he's in a league outside of the famous traditional japanese composer that we know)
same here pal
â@@danielwu4991i think we can safely put Keichi Okabe , Nobuo Uematsu and Yoko Kano in this list
Aot deserves a few Grammy's first and then an oscar, that's why
Its really the best thing about it.
I would actually pay solid money to go and sit in the front rows of an orchestral AOT concert.
Unbelievable level of expertise, hardwork and talent at display
same here, just tell me where and when
I went to one. It was unbelievable. I actually shed tears from how breathtaking it was.
i want to marry this woman singing
Iâm in.
You need to pay solid money to do so, or any other orchestral concert for that matter
This is the song I most associate with Attack on Titan. The emotions of hearing it performed like this after 10 years aren't something I can put into words
I still feel the shock of the Colossal breaking through the wall, the horror, despairity and hopelessness humanity had. Ah, simple times.
@@Kairac112 I think now that the series is finished, this song that was played at the end of the first episode still encapsulates the feeling of Attack on Titan in it's entirety. It feels like a desperate cry at the injustice of the world and a yearning for justice or fairness in a world where there is so little. It feels like a representation of Eren who, even with the most power out of anyone in the world was still bound to his fate and the pain and suffering involved. Trapped by his predetermined fate as if he were a bird in a cage, as the title says, truly a tragic song and story yet so beautiful.
Same!
I'm still wrapping my head around the fact AoT is that old now.
It was played during pretty intense parts. Very memorable.
The fact that this peice of music was created for an anime show. Still blows my mind away. The impact I get just hearing this is beyond words. But to think on how how millions of people felt watching the scene with this piece playing in the background, must have been something truly powerful and magnificent. The orchestra did a phenomenal job and the Soloiest, did absolutely amazing. The song truly came to life through everyone.
The memory of the scenes and impact the score had for the show makes me WEEP whenever I hear it.
AoT deserve this level of music. A top-tier to a top-tier
This piece of music was created for The anime show!
"The fact that this piece of music was created for an anime show. Still blows my mind away."
This here. I have been saying for years that outside of Japan, Japanese composers are massively under-rated. The music that always hits me harder than anything always ends up being from a video game or anime from a Japanese composer. And I always get the same response from people I introduce to the music. They can't believe it comes from a game or anime.
â@@khajiit268not an normal anime a top tier deep above oscar level anime ð
One of the best version of Vogel Im Kafig that I've heard, congratulations to the Orchestra and Stella ! ð
One of ?
I am in love with this one.. but curious about another one that could match it ? Does it really exist ?
the original lol@@Topeiko
@@hotamadeus2726 why would we be here if the original was better ?
Donât tell me you think it wouldnât be better with this in the anime or you are a liar ð
@@Topeiko well this version is probably in the same realm of quality. However the original is more suited to the anime and no I wouldn't take anything else over it
Take out âone ofâ and youâre spot on.
As a german, this song always hits different
Because of all the confusion due to her pronunciation
So much confusion.
A very meaningful song. And no offense to the soloist, but couldn't they, you know, pick a German singer for the part?
Song is a banger nonetheless.
Real
Wie recht du hast
As a German, you can tell she doesn't know the language, but it's sort of magical to hear your mother tongue in such a foreign way. It's a beautiful piece of music and a beautiful performance.
I think this might also be caused by the way the music is written. Japanese music has different rhythms than western music and different ways of accentuating words within the lyrics. So the german words are sometimes stressed on the wrong syllable. But that also makes it so pretty and unique imo
Don't forget the song from the start was not written with correct german^^
â @@Yuuteimiyawow really? i thought they were written correctly
@@zhonglisdingdong Ain't that the wonderful thing about music? A song's lyrical content could be complete gibberish and still sound hauntingly beautiful. ex: Emi Evans, Lisa Gerrard, Enya.
Just think of it as whatever germanic language they speak in AOT instead of our actual german ð
I have goosebumps the whole song but when they make all instruments sing at 5:14 , I reached another level of goosebumps..
Tears of epicnes
I've cried for this, cried for their fate, for the betrayal
Speaking of tears and crying...I watched this video so many times and I just now notice that the blonde Cellist shed a drop of tear while playing the part that I mentioned..makes it more epic
Same dude ðĒ
the highest of heights!
hiroyuki sawano is truly amazing, like how do you even think of producing such a masterpiece.
Perfection..
It's what I would call a musical genius
One of the best composers of our era.
It was exactly what I was thinking, how on earth can someone have that much talent and come up with something like this... Video game composes really are something
He has the founding music power
The way she sang "werden" at 4:05 was just perfect. To a native speaker it sounds weird to just sing it in one go but she stretched it and ended it at the perfect time. This sounded so great and powerful. Got goosebumps :D
AOT soundtrack deserves Grammys and an Oscar. It has probably the greatest soundtrack ever.
the fact that this is composed for an anime and got that much appreciation and dedication from musician community is unbelievable.
Attack on Titan has such an incredible soundtrack. The music is so beautiful, how can you not be moved by it? Glorious performance.
i watched the final episode a week ago and im forever changed in a good and sad way. The music and animation has been the emotional perfect vehicle through out this masterpiece, AOT is my best anime period.
â@@fasttronics6747AOT is the best anime period.
Attack on Titan was complete.
Animation, Plot, Character depth, Music, you name it.
Some of the best animes to ever exist. It was a fun ride while it lasted.
I'll never feel the same excitement again...
Agree. But if you hungry for more, i suggest you try anime 86. Its beutifully written.
Agreed.
Show me a single anime that received this level of appreciation outside the anime community, in every aspect.
Shinzou wo sasageyo âĪ
Maybe evangelion
Well, ghibli
She sings like an angel. This is what I think of when I read tales of Sirens and how their beautiful voices would lead sailors astray. Her performance is eloquent, heartfelt, angry, and visceral. I don't have words to describe it.
True :')
She speaks german so well even tho she s french that s just so impressive
â what? The German is terrible. Vowels are 50 % of the time wrongly pronounced, the accents on the words are wrong a lot of the time and she doesn't pronounce big portions of the words. There's nothing good about it which I find sad since she songs opera and should know it.
@@dowal199 cry about it
My favorite song out of them all, when the organ starts playing at 4:23 and that small snippet at 5:19 i instantly get chills down my spine, truly remarkable.
exactlyyy
I got it toooooooo
Through my spine fluid too ðĐŧ
You got chills on your spine ðŪ be careful maybe you'r an eldian about to transform ..
Reminds me the moment when Berthold and Reiner revealed their true identities.
Can listen to this over and over again âĪ
I'm so glad the dmca was lifted, this will be a gem I will keep returning to enjoy in my lifetime
her facial and hand expressions when she hits those high notes bring chills all over my arms. she is lovely and everyone in this project is so amazing. yâall deserve so much credit
as a wanna be singer xD YThe hand expressions helps you to hit the high notes. She need to builds up pressure in her chest and diaphragm and the realising of it. Also it helps to lead the way of breathing. A singer without moving their whole body isnÂīt a good singer
AoT just wouldn't be AoT without this song. It's amazing how a piece could be written so perfectly to compliment and elevate a story, like they were always meant to be together. It's almost spiritual.
One moment i don't see people talking about. At 3:00 her voice is out of this world. It's is so full of power and vengeance and dedication while still being heavenly and clear. I believe that's what Valkyrie would sound like... Absolutely astonishing performance.
Sawano is just a masterful composer to get this level of attention from an orchestral group. If I don't know AOT and you tell me this came from an anime, i would never believe you.
4:25 PURE GOOSEBUMPS
It's amazing how Opera singers doesn't use microphones when they sing ðŪ
Yes they train sing forte, soft but loud among the instruments!! ðð
â@@ruppiifyamazing ð
Suena irreal, pero es asà âĪ increÃbleð
So glad that this video is back and avaliable again! Thank you!
Goosebumps throughout the entire thing but, when 3:47 kicked with the crescendo into the cutoff? hairs on the back of my neck went up. and then when the music exploded in, with the PIPE ORGAN? my jaw fell to the floor, brows furrowed in awe. Then the soloist's final vocalization at 4:31? AAHHHH. AND THEN?? 4:37 the orchestra joining into one unified chorus sending it to the end? Hands over my mouth, tears in my eyes.
It's as if I had heard the piece for the very first time when I was 11 years old, all over again.
4:31 SO TRUEE HER VOICE IS INSANE
I CANNOT AGREE WITH THIS MORE THAT PART AT 4:31 TO 4:38 IS SO GOOOOOOOD GAVE ME GOOSEBUMPS
I rarely get goosebumps listening to music, but Stella's voice... Just wow!
Fr i've been getting goosebumps through out the entire video ð
I just keep coming back to this version. This is, by far, the best cover of Vogel im KÃĪfig I've found. It just elevates the original masterpiece into something even more sublime and powerful.
Totalmente de acuerdo, supera hasta la original
No matter how many times I hear this song, it overwhelms me to tears. Absolutely amazing performance.
OH MY GOD ITS BACKK AT LASTT, I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO THIS EVERYDAY AND THEN IT SUDDENLY DISSAPEAREDðĒðĒðĒðĒ MASSIVE LOVE FROM MALAYSIAAA
I really love how Stella managed to demonstrate every feeling in the song. Her voice sounds like she's living every sentence she sings. You can really tell that she's singing her heart out
The singer really delivers at the finale and her expressions make it so powerful
Es una obra maestra, la verdad me hizo llorar ;) !! Impresionante !! me hicieron poner la piel de gallina y quede estupefacto !!
finally no distraction on the end again. now i can enjoy this song so much
Wow, that's truly exceptional! It ranks among the finest soprano performances, complementing one of the most captivating stories ever told by humanity. When Mozart expressed his intention to compose an opera in German, skeptics dismissed the idea, asserting that German wasn't a suitable language for such a medium. However, this masterpiece unequivocally proves them wrong-German is undeniably a remarkably beautiful language for opera. Thank you for presenting this beautiful concert and making me fall in love with this magnificent lady.
I mean, the idea that German is a wonderful and beautiful singing language was no news anymore in Mozart's time. German had long been successfully used in music. There had also been German operas before, but it is true that their popularity took off with Mozart.
In classical music German comes only second to Italian. French, Spanish, English, Russian...are all used less commonly than German.
I'm always a bit baffled when today's audience is so surprised that German is a beautiful singing language. I guess, they must not learn about Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Wagner, Strauss etc. in school or their private life anymore.
â@@mimamo you have Hitler to thank for that. Modern peoples primary impressions of German as a language is violent, loud, aggressive and hateful sounding. The German they get exposed to is either of movie characters or history class teachings, which as you might have guessed are all about ww2.
Her facial expression really elevates the song. Well done
I'm soooo glad the video is back!!! It's one of my favorite videos ever, I was crossing my fingers for you to win âĪâĪâĪ
The clarity of her voice is outstanding!!! The whole ensemble sounds fantastic, actually!!! But her voice?? She makes those high notes and that perfect entonation seem completely effortless!!! This is a fantastic job right here!!!
clarity as in i cant understand a word she sings?
I cried when i first saw and heard this, stella with her expression, the instruments are all giving chills and goosebumps. This has got to be my favourite
10 years of my life wrapped up within an hour and a half. It's a weird feeling now, when I hear this. A lot of people have mentioned the goosebumps, which im not immune to myself, it's like looking at old photos of past friends. All of these memories and emotions come to the surface, reminiscing about times past, good and bad. Wishing you could live them again, but comfortable with the fact you also wouldn't change a thing. In the same way, Attack on Titan, and this song in particular, will always have a spot in my heart.
Shinzou wo sasageyo!

ITS BACKKK! GOD I LOVE THIS SONG!
The Betrayal episode is down one of the best episode of anime all time and this song delivers all the shivers
"No one mustn't be deprived of his life waywardly" just hits so differently when you realize that's exactly what happens to Eren in a very different sense after getting the Attack Titan and having those memories flood him sitting under that tree.
they're back ðĨ°
Life does indeed imitate art. How absolutely awe inspiring.
Wow this is stunning... those opening choral chords sent chills down my spine.
Incredible artistry ð
All thanks to Hiroyuki Sawano for this beautiful piece âĪ
Hiroyuki is the best anime composer of all time, without a doubt
jesus christ. tears streaming down my face. incredible.
I'm late to the show but this is an excellently rendered version of this beautifully, heartfelt masterpiece. This is a song to treasure forever!
This brought tears to my eyes. Such a powerful performance, such greatness and longing for freedom... Unbelievable.
Her expressions for every single word perfects it. Everything about this is very well made
I remember when I heard the first version some time ago. It was the first time I've heard this song, and listening to the original one didn't feel as beautiful and powerful. The Grissini version will always have a special place in my heart âĪ
That's how it is
Me too!
Je sors du concert de Bordeaux, et je suis tellement heureux dâavoir entendu cette musique en live

First of all, congratulations for the outstanding project. Secondly, Ms. Siecinska's performance was exceptionally full of passion.

4:53 shivers down my spine HOLY
This story and, by extension, the beautiful music of Attack on Titan mean so much to me. Itâs a masterpiece I will cherish forever.
Vogel im KÃĪfig is one of my favorite songs of Snk, on top with bauklotze. But this version, I...I have no words to explain my feelings. I just wish I could hear it for the first time again. So congratulations !
Auf Wiedersehen, ewige Ruhe fÞr den Jungen, der sich nach Freiheit sehnt.
This is so absolutely beautiful. I need to buy these records omg.
An opportunity to sit in a theatre to experience this will be a lifetime memory for me.
I loved your original arrangement but this one is so powerfull. The ending with the full orchestra and the organ gave me the greatest goosebumps !
Thanks for the wonderful music experience and sorry to hear about the legal battle - the work it must have taken to compose this is mind blowing!
If I could sing this song like her I would never shut up. The lady & the orchestra were the definition of perfection here. Give them all the awards. Combining her voice, the superbly talented musicians & choir, together with AOT - which is also a masterpiece, is what art is about. The goosebumps and all. It's what happens when great artists combine their talents together. You don't get a combination of perfection like this often. Thank you so much for this. I also appreciate that you guys took the time to add the English subtitles, it really contributed a lot emotionally.
100 thousand pounds project ?!! Man, no wonder my eyes are already wet and literally dripping....
AoT's OST is one of the kind and will live along it's anime's name...
Thank you AoT....
Never before has such a beautiful orchestra of music moved me to this many tears.
Iâm gon cry and iâm not ashamed.
This arrangement is brilliant. One of my favourite parts, the cello in 4:16 and the dramatic neogothic organ at the chorus.
SPOILER ALERT:
I was waiting a new arrangement of this song in the final episode. Never heard anybody talking about it but I would love to answer that someday...
Keep on doing projects like this and Shinzoo wo Sasageyo!
Bro same. Itâs the only let down I have with the finale. I was really hoping the song that started it all would be there in the end and it justâĶ never showed up. The soundtrack we got tho was still legit and hype af
Vogel im KÃĪfig is so iconic. Well done! I have goosebumps!!!
Tears and tears and tears whenever I come back to listen to this. Something about this just heals me. What a masterpiece. âĪïļâðĨ
This song never fails to make me cry. You guys are the best.
I've never been a big fan of Vogel im Kafig, it simply didn't do it for me, but in this very arrangement it just left me speechless and on the verge of tears. It's absolutely wonderful. There's been some wonderful work put into this by every single person involved in preparation, performance and post production stages. Big thanks to every single one of you.
It's the song that plays when Eren is confronted with the cruelty of the world. Every time it gets to the Anger part where he's flying over Petra et al, I WEEP
lol how is that possible. When Eren mother was eaten, in episode 1, that was the song that got me hooked.
@@misterdd7239 fr, YSBG doesn't exist without Vogel im Kafig
I mean clearly the original arrangement didnt have enough violins or it's bigger cousins for you to enjoy. Yes my friend, the most major difference (aside from godly vocal from both sides obviously) is the number of violins/double basses used
Edit: and of course, this is sarcasm.
Honestly I get confused with this and ISEEBIGGIRL
Can we talk about the expression in her eyes being another instrument that made this interpretation a new level of perfection?
Finally I will see and feel it again, thank you)
you know this is an uplifing song but knowing how the show goes every word hurts .
but you know i love eran . he said he'll wipe out every titan from the face of earth and he did just that.
I'm afraid this version is ten times better than the original, the German pronunciation is out of this world! Congratulations to Stella besides the pronunciation the performance as soprano is amazing! I'm totally crazy about her!
It's beautiful of course but the pronounciation is sometimes a bit off. this only bothers you if you're german but the other version by Grissini was phenomenal in that regard. Im talking that I thought she was natively german, because that's how good her pronounciation was. obviously here it's a nitpick that you only notice when your german and if you listen to the music without watching the anime. and yes in the original me and my other german friends didn't realize the text was german until we listened to a version on youtube with lyrics. hiring a japanese person to sing in german is counterintuitive especially if she has such a beautiful voice as the woman in the origional. I gotta admit though Stella did a perfect job as saying "grandiose"
Itâs very good but all the false emphasis still bothers me, I wish theyâd made a few minor changes to make it flow better
Honestly the O.G in suite version still untouchable. And still the definition of war song. While this version sounded like Castlevania.
I donât know German so the original is still no1 for me lol.
â @arapaimagold8088, I completely agree that Hiroyuki Sawano's Japanese Suite from the Project is remarkable. It's true that the German lyrics can be challenging for native Japanese speakers, and this is somewhat noticeable in the performance. However, this is a symphonic orchestral rendition, akin to some themes in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, which naturally brings about certain similarities.
Yet, this doesn't detract from the achievement of creating an orchestral version of AoT that carries a deeper emotional resonance. The use of German adds a layer of meaning, enhancing the overall impact. It's akin to a non-Italian singer performing an Italian opera with a deep understanding of the dynamics and nuances of the language, aligning it with the musical composition's intent. This version, while different, brings its own unique and powerful interpretation to the table.
The fact that I have already forgotten the way this song goes is what made it more chilling to me. It was like I am listening to it the very first time, just goosebumps every few moments.
I'm able to watch this video on background even though I'm in basic TH-cam account. Is someone else realise that ? Is this part of video's promotion ? Amazing, I feel soo blesed just by seing this wonderful production for freeâĪ Thank you very very much @grassini project. Love from IndonesiaâĪðŪðĐ
