I've been focusing so much on classical repertoire recently that I almost forgot why I work so hard on learning all that : partially because I like but also so that I can develop the technique to do stuff like this.

Juggling between whether I should switch to music major and having my parents criticize me for it. Lacking motivation to do much in this pandemic despite having big-ass aspirations. 2-3 years ago i dreamed of playing this piece even though it looked impossible for me. i would imagine myself playing it… not in front of a lot of people but just playing it to myself. 2-3 years later and now it looks easy. hope to learn it soon. remember to keep practicing. practice doesn’t make perfect but it does make improvement. this piece definitely holds a place in my heart.

Tokyo ghoul is one of those animes where you can feel crazy amount of emotion through words that mean nothing and even the openings endings ect kaneki isnt singing them but the sorrow and pain is reflected beautifully this is amazing
this track is really beautiful. Its tells us story of pain of touka , kaneki and all of them tangled up in this mess of life and death in tokyo ghoul . The way you played glassy sky is painfully beautiful.
Hey i don’t know if you’ll see this but I remember when you first posted this 4 years ago, I was a little kid who loved anime and I was so bent on learning how to play this song you composed so truthfully I spent about a year and a half learning it seeing as I was not very good at the time. Time skip and I finally learned how to play the full thing (grade 10 now) and my whole family loved it, I still play it from time to time because this song is the one I don’t want to forget. Thanks.
Honestly it's amazing, this and the first version are just amazing. I've been trying to figure out the minor differences on and off since you've revised your arrangement. The harmonies are different in places ,I think anyway, which is something I could only notice while sitting in a dark room for a while. This second version feels less hollow and slightly less sad than the first which is probably why I like the first one a bit more. I appreciate you making such great arrangements for me to obsess over

i dont think most people realize the difference between this version and the one 4 years ago. For me this one is more beautiful since it emphasizes the most important notes in the song, and it makes the melody sound way better
