I hope you guys are doing well! I took a break but I'm back with the uploads~ YOASOBI songs have been hitting the spot for me lately. To be honest, Ikura's voice is so amazing that I feel that my cover doesn't do it justice at all. Even so, I did my best to make the melody flow - and as usual, my style kinda amps it up a bit with more energy (good or bad, that's up to interpretation I suppose). The middle section I decided to do in a different time signature. For me, it adds a lot of feeling. I did this with my arrangement of The Silent Voice Theme Song as well. Your play style is most impactful to me and it makes me appreciate it so much, keep playing for yourself and for others~
I always have the subs/captions on when watching First Take videos, and it just adds that extra bit for me so I thought it was worth adding to my videos as well!
The song is directly associated from a series called Beastars where a lion became a father figure to a deer until they were put into a situation that one of them has to die. The song talks about their happy times together: The lion realizes that he was saved by the deer and the Deer who realized that Carnivores (Just like the lions) were as suffering like him despite their strength. Too late and the lion dies before saying their goodbyes.
YOASOBI has been one of my favorites lately so it's nice to see you return with this beautiful cover. Also for some reason it made me a little happy that you have your thumbnail and title referring to this as more as a YOASOBI work rather than the Beastars ed lol
