When you said - I am too damn young to be this stressed out. I got to that point last year. It just hit me one day how tired I was... And then you start the change, and you know nothing is ever the same! ❤
You are absolutely great. You remind me of a few people I love in my life. You are a life that is beautifully lived. You are already making it, you always have been. We love you so much.
Watching this with my daughter who is one. Usually she wants cartoons but she has been sitting quietly watching with me. Your videos are so calming and refreshing. Thank you for opening up your life to us❤
Wooow you have grown now, I used to watch your travel programe on Sabc when you used to travel to different African countries, it feels like yesterday but it's been a couple of years & you were much young then, the thing is you made me to love that program. 🙂
I promise to take good care of myself ❤😊 thank you very much and thank God for your life. I grew up watching your show on SABC 2 and all I wanted was to be you- Your Afro, your dresses and style and the confidence. You are amazing
Wow, I didn't think you would even see my comment. Lol this was great, thank you! I also know how it feels to outgrow an environment or career and people will just think that you gave up on our dreams which isn't the case.
Its funny and enjoyable watching your channel. I am going through difficult times right now but after watching your videos makes me feel better. My mood has changed from stressfulness to happiness.🙂🙂🙂
I loved hearing your candid responses to those questions, what well adjusted little humans you guys are raising with that mentality of working together as a team ❤❤
Since you're a South African in America, do you classify your children as black, white, or Coloured? And do you try speaking to them in your native Xhosa language at home or you're planning on just raising them in English?
Watching these videos is so encouraging. I've spent most of my life solving for perfection and it exhausted me. Now i am working on changing my perspective and focussing on what i can manage. Also, unreleated, i have a beard from my mom. She did me so wrong that lady. Love from a South African living in the UK! Wishing you all the best!
I somehow fell you are lowkey judging those who have nannies and house helper. It is best to remember that our dynamics are different, should we all have the liberty to look after our kids and still earn money whilst we are at home doing part time jobs... sure. but putting it as "outsourcing", like people are outsourcing parenting... no girl. People work long hours for little pay and they are extremely stretched to take care full time of their households and kids.
I hear you. And I'm glad you pointed this out. Sometimes the same word means different things to different people as I did not mean to use the word outsourcing in a callous manner. For that I apologize. I did think later to add that the caring for our kids ourselves solely, also depends on finances. For example: many families here end up with one income in a two parent household due to the high cost in child care, hence why I was a stay at home mom while married. And for the same reasons, I've had to get creative in how I provide, as working a full time job allowed me little time with my kids, placed a toll on my mental health and made me less money due to the cost in child care. All in all, I'm grateful for your comment because this is a part that needed further details.

Perfection is dead! We must just live and be happy friend, bears and all❤
I like your authenticity
Thanks Edward
You are funny.
I had this happen to me 16 years ago - I have 9 of the little hairs on the chin.
Pluck don’t shave.
I’m glad I’m not alone and yes I’ll pluck and not shave😊
Ive had a beard since I was 16, I am 30😭 It feels like I am watering it with every face wash, I gave up .
Why did I laugh so hard!? I once watched a TH-cam video of someone testing Korean skin care products for a month. Their facial hair doubled in growth!
Do you not get home sick?
Depends on what’s going on in life

Bèared😂😂😂😂.... remove with laser. I did❤
the darn beard is back again!
Any Culture shock content
The size of food portions! That still shocks me! Small in SA is child food here as small in America is to me an adult size meal.
Stop shaving because it's going to get thicker, plucking is better PK.
Ah! Yes! That makes more sense, thank you!!!
Gosh you dragged this😩……..
