At the Netherfield junction, if keeping left towards Arnold, is the left signal necessary as you are keeping to left and not changing direction , would it be misleading as in planning to turn left towards Netherfield. Would the examiner mark as a fault if did not indicate ? asking as an confused . Thanks for advice .
Thanks for the comments. Before the junction you cross a white line to get to the left lane; so you need a signal to move lane and then cancel the signal after moving. No signal at the junction and then no signal after as you stay in lane and follow it around the bend to the left. A signal at the traffic lights would show a left turn intention, so definitely a fault if you did.
Had to ask as there is a similar junction ahead at Burton Road junction when turning left from Colwick loop road into Burton road , where you have to cross the white line but is close to a left turn ( Conway Road ) Presume that one would be confusing so would not indicate till after Conway hence not indicating when crossing the white line . Both are similar in approach hence asking your opinion . Thankyou for advice 😊
