- I've watched some videos on this subject and I must say, there's some real winners out here. some, shouldnt even ride a harley not alone work on one. since I was already preforming this job. I thought it's time someone puts out a solid video, with no stories, bs, and showing you the proper way to use a cam bearing tool. I'm not some dude just doing videos, I am a real biker that works on his bike and breathes this lifestyle. hope you enjoy.

Well. If you know what you're doing. Then the process of installing a new cam, shouldn't take too long. It should take a short time.

Good video, just no body explane to how check cam bearing condition and why it must be replaced?
Why would anyone check the cam bearing? Lol if you go this far, replace it... anytime you do new cams or cam, you always replace the cam bearings. Cause if you spin a bearing it will cost you alot more money then that 20 dollar bearing would have.

Good stuff man. Im about to do mine this week. Good thing I watched this, I was gonna try using my puller/installer for small block chevy, tho it did look a little big...haha. What cams did ya go with? I think Im, gonna try the Rocket cams on mine. Also, how was your crank runout? Ive heard some of the TC's are pretty bad. Did ya pull the heads or cut the pushrods? Im undecicded on that too.....Starting to sound like an interrogation....haha. Stay safe man.

Can that Bearing be greased prior to pressing it in??? does it matter ??
You want to use the red oil that comes with the kit. Before installing the cams put a little oil on inner cam bearings.
@@dannydlowbikertv got ya... forgot about that... the good ol assembly lube ... then after startup they are lubed by engine oil...
