- Laksa is one of Singapore's most popular local hawker food and I absolutely love it. Hence, I thought why not try famous or expensive laksa for 3 days straight to find the best laksa in Singapore? Despite 3 days of laksa, while I was editing this video, I felt a strange desire to have laksa once again..
Anyways, here are the timestamps & ratings for the laksa places I've ventured. Ratings are of my own, please try them for yourselves:

Ya I cringed when she butchered the language. Anyways the real reason why they call it janggut laksa is because the owner had a big mole with a hair growing out of it. The fella iconic. They disturb him and call him janggut!

Great video! If you do this again you should try Janggut Laksa at the Queensway shopping centre. That used to be my favorite!

There are 3 "Originals" that started around the same period. My great grandparents were friends with 2 of them and often shared their stories. Apparently only 2 are still around - one is called George's Laksa if I am not wrong and the other is Janggut Laksa. According to my great ma, Janggut closed down for a few years because of financial difficulties and one of the employee started 328 at almost the same location. 328 was good last time but now the standard dropped sadly. Always loved Janggut and Yishun one, original or not these 2 are the best to me. Great video!
George's dad learnt the trade from the original Janggut and opened his stall, which is officially registered as "Katong Laksa"

there is a stall at tampines hub food court that specialised in laska only. Its besides a pasta stall. One of the best laska i eaten.
Should try the hidden gem Hup Hup Mee Siam! Their Mee Siam and Laksa are damn good 😍

Taste buds are individual and personal hence the ratings you gave differs from your guests as well. I would not say best but better ones for me 😊
You miss out 1 Katong Laksa which used to be opposite 328. They are now located at the food court at Roxy Sq One, ground level. Use the overhead bridge and cross over.

Laksa is a comfort food - the big timers add lobster/crabs just to sikit atas and put big $ to bill. Best I can say is the Depot Laksa.

i really love laksa. too bad the last time I was in SG I only got to try it at a hawker stall. I love the coconut broth in laksa. the soup has got to be good. the type of noodles matter too haha xD I like lots of peanuts in mine. you can have my prawns xD

I disagree that u guys by juz eating 3 straight days that such an outlet is the BEST laksa in SG ! To make such a claim, there must be an official competition or contest or voting by local ppl. The ppl must given a chance to taste d laksa and to decide for themselves on the best laksa to them. It is juz like d Guinness World of Records where the winners r officially established thru certain criteria.

The Sungei Road Trishaw Laksa is a big disappointment. I am surprised you rated it so high. I just went there recently.$12 for the bowl with crayfish is too much. The soup is diluted and bland. How does the crayfish contribute to the taste of the laksa? Will definitely not eat again. I think the laksa at EAT tastes better than them. Laksa should be judged by the gravy and the sambal, not the accompaniments.
