So; and I know everyone has made the comparisons; a Star Wars version of Lone Wolf and Cub, a story about an assassin who lost his wife but saved his newborn son and takes him along with him and takes care of him as well(if you’re interested, highly recommend it)
And that child eventually turning into a mandalorian Jedi who will eventually go off an do his own thing once Mando dies (since he'll live almost 1000 years) and use the force ghosts for help (maybe?) to go back then to his roots and build a saber and restart the Jedi order but do it the right way. No foregoing attachments as it's not necessary in order to be a jedi.. that's just the old way. I think grogu will train the new Jedi order and they'll be even more badass bc they will be loyal and not hypocritical. Anakin can't have attachments and Luke tells group to forego attachment but he loved his sister and han and chewy and cared about all of them so much he left Yoda to save them abandoning his training. Honestly grogu probably spent more time training than Luke did... So whenever he goes of to do his own thing it's gonna be awesme an he'll do great things. That would be like 40 50 years from now which would be an opportunity to create a new trilogy to make up for the rey and Ben thing since they'd be dead or super old by then and there's a real chance to make some rally great films about grogu and the way the Jedi order always should have been run and how they always should have Been raised and taught
Well he probably won’t be doing that anymore since he is rumored to be making a fit about it. He probably feels even worse now since in the last episode their were mandos removing their masks and he did not get to.
I actually think this is an example of why the Mandalorian is a much better Star Wars project than most of the newer movies. We never see Mando's face, he barely talks, but we know exactly what he is about. The scene when Mando is leaving Baby Yoda and is about to fly away in his ship and then he picks up the ball, we are literally watching a piece of metal without any expression or words looking at another piece of metal. We know little about Mando, we don't know his opinion on this, we don't even know for a fact what emotion he is feeling, we have to infer it from the clues that had been given. And yet, we all understand, and we all feel something. Compare that to Last Jedi (I like most of the movie but this is the best example I can think of) when Rose tells us why she wants to tear down the casino and racetracks. We hear her words, we see the cruelty towards the animals and the children, we understand the war profiteering, and yet when she takes the action to free the space horses that isn't nearly as powerful as Mando going back for Baby Yoda. On a side note, I was made to believe that I had Aspergers Syndrome because I couldn't read people or situations accurately. I think the diagnosis was BS but there's no denying I have trouble reading people, and I'm always unsure if my interpretation is correct. So if I am saying that one of the best things about the Mandalorian is having to read the body language to understand what's going on, that's a sure sign they are doing a damn fine job.
On any job: You try to kill me? I try to kill you, it's all fair game. Mando with bebe: You try to KILL ME!? That could hurt MY SON! You try to kill my sOn!?!? THAT COULD HURT MY SON!!
I love how Mando went from being cold twords Grogu, to freaking out everytime someone gets 2 feet close to him. In the first few episodes, he held him by the back of his sweater and made him walk. Now he talks to him, he holds him like a good father, he puts him in his bag, gets excited and proud when Grogu does something, and he gets sad when he has to say bye. That's what we call Character Development.
My wife said while watching episode 3 or 4 that Mando has the patience of a saint, and it makes me appreciate him all the more. Any other bounty hunter would probably lose his patience, maybe be a lot rougher on the kid. But seeing how he is with the Child, and others, it makes him more intriguing.
I think Din realized he had a heart when the Doc was taking him to the back room. The look on his face told him there's something curious and special about the kid.
But that is alright. A son seen its father die is the most natural thing to experience. Is much worse for a father to see its son dead. That is against nature and yet, happens all the time unfortunally.
@GodIsGracious also, since yoda lived to by around 900 and baby yoda is 50, mando is gonna be like baby yoda's first dog and he's probably gonna forget what he even looked like a few years after his death

@@arranroberts1463 technically so, Mando has practically adopted him, and the master of the forge (female mando who forged the armor) basically made The Child a foundling. Mando is such a kind, loving, and protective father it so cute
Mando calling Grogu a little womp rat is such a wholesome dad scene.
My favorite scenes are whenever Mando starts to get into another fight, he makes it a priority to close/push away Grogu to protect him. plus, the cameraman makes it a point to show it every time.
He’s so tiny 🥺🥺🥺 I love him 💕💕❤️💕💕❤️💕❤️
This was the show that got me back into the starwars universe after years of me deciding it was not good anymore.
Those two just entered my "serious and protector father and adorable smol son duo" list
This Disney, This is how you do a character right.
OMG, how baby yoda walk is soo CUTEEEEEE
I have precisely zero desire to have kids, I'm not in the least bit maternal.
But DAMN if I wouldn't make an exception if it was Grogu. I don't even LIKE Star Wars, but I've been obsessively watching every clip of Grogu that I can all week, because I can't get over how dang CUTE he is. I just want to give him a massive hug.

Best Single Dad of the Galaxy
Baby Yoda and Mando are literally me and my father 😭👍
I loved when Mando was about to start shooting and Grogu slaps the close button on his hover bed like “Ope, here we go” and dips inside.
4:30 I'm a fan of the prequels but I'm so glad she didn't say "youngling".
Baby Yoda’s not a youngling, why would she call him that?
Youngling was what the Jedi called the children who trained to become Padawans. No one else in the galaxy called children younglings
@@arranroberts1463 He's a foundling. :)
@@armanddehorta no not yet
@@arranroberts1463 technically so, Mando has practically adopted him, and the master of the forge (female mando who forged the armor) basically made The Child a foundling.
Also, given the choice of Jedi and Mandalorian, I get the feeling The Child will pick what father Mando picked, Mandalorian (he could also just... You know, be Bardan Juisk)
This is so heartwarming
Give this man a dad of the year award!
I love it when he walks out of the ship and the baby just follows him.
That looks like every dad at walmart
The mandalorian is the best Star Wars production created.
I have spoken.
Prob for the doctor who actually pegged the Mandalorian to not kill baby Yoda “he just a child”, good to see there is still some good somewhere
