To me this is the purest love in all the Star Wars universe. The love of a father for his child, ready to abandon everything he had grown up to believe and to uphold, to bare his face and his soul to the world, to make himself vulnerable in every way so he could hold his baby once more, knowing he would have to give him up in the end. Din's love for Grogu is unconditional and selfless. This show is brilliant.
It shows how Din and Bo-Katan are polar opposites. He´s such a good, caring, humble, selfless person, while she´s manipulative, selfish, arrogant, spineless, power-hungry and also the only real zealot around. If she got the darksaber, I would riot. #DinDjarinForMandalore

@@chris_a4744 Me too! I can hear the whole world further losing it if Din said "I love you." But still respect it how everything went. Din's already demonstrated how much he loves him without needing to say it.
The image of Din, standing there alone, all worn out and teary eyed, seeing the most precious gift in his life, go on his way, is still haunting me. Our lone, stoic hero who didn’t even know what he needed till Grogu came into his life, has changed forever. He has sacrificed everything for him and now he is left with nothing. No Grogu, no ship, no nothin’. The most selfless act of love ever. It broke my 💔
That's honestly why I wasn't as fond of this finale as a lot of other people are. Someone on tumblr said it perfectly- after having lost or given up everything emotionally meaningful to him- the ship, his (former?) interpretation of the Creed, now Grogu his kid- it feels like he's been stripped of his whole identity and emotionally killed off. Then only thing still tying him to his own show is the business with Mandalore / the darksaber, and that's not nearly as compelling as his relationship with the kid.
I think that's the beauty of this story. Grogu broke all his walls - revived him to be a human being again. For so long, Din had to be stoic + practical to survive, altho you can see how compassionate he was giving a chunk of his earnings to the foundlings. He had to be cold to be a bounty hunter. But Grogu changed all that. Not only do you see him with his helmet off -- the breaking free of the cult. You see him tearing up: the antithesis of all that was wrong in his life. He has bonded again; he has a family. He's free of being a machine. Now, Mando can rebuild, then go get Grogu.
"I will not say, 'Do not cry', for not all tears come from sadness." Its a wholesome moment showing how much Din cares for the little guy. Its okay to cry, there's no shame in it. Its just salt water after all.
The moment Mando took of his helmet, Grogu knew how much Mando loved him. Grogu knew Din never took it off for anyone but he did it for him… like I just can’t 🥺
It was so sad seeing Din take off his helmet so he could look at Grogu for the last time. In earlier scenes where he had to take off his helmet, he looked so nervous and scared, but he put himself in such a vulnerable position in a room full of people so that he could look at his son with his real eyes before he had to say goodbye.
My heart is still broken, when I watch the scene where Din and Grogu say goodbye to each other and Grogu touches Din's face for the first time and he closes his eyes, I end up crying so much. I went to bed with my eyes all puffy because I was crying for 3hrs. Din and Grogu really love each, their bond is unbreakable, Din Djarin & Grogu clan of two will always have my heart as the best father/son duo of the galaxy. also this edit of yours was heartbreakingly beautiful, really captured their emotional connection with each other.

This episode emotionally destroyed me. I thought I wasn’t going to cry, but as soon as the episode ended and I tried to talk, I burst into tears. My siblings tease me by saying ‘bye bye Mando.” In a Baby Yoda voice, and I cry every time. Season 3 can’t come soon enough.

Why am I doing this to myself? The episode was emotional enough. This is so beautiful and heartbreaking. I lost it when he said Grogu and chuckled at his reaction. Come back I still need you is all of us right now. I’ll see you again. I promise. Don’t be afraid. Din’s last words to him for now.
The title should be “best dad of the year”
Best Dad in the whole Universe
Best dad of everything
Best dad of the century
Best Dad in a galaxy far far away!
Agree
The best scenario ever. The sweetest love between a Dad and his child. It makes my eyes fill with happy tears and my heart with love. The Way!!
I almost broke down in tears next to my dad but held myself back to not shock him- because oh I knew, I would be crying real hard. as a joke I told him, "ha I didn't cry!" and he told me, "you're gonna cry later" and I did. for 10 minutes. and again tonight,,
I watched it with my brothers and I knew I had to keep it in but this video... it broke me yknow
100,000 views in two days?!!? Wow, you guys are incredible. I never thought this was possible. I've been doing my best to read all your comments and it's good to see that I'm not the only one who has been emotionally devastated by the finale. On a happier note, I will likely have a new tribute soon dedicated to all the awesome female characters we have had thus far in The Mandalorian, so keep an eye out for that!
Once again, THANK YOU, and may the force be with you.
Ha, I am the first! You just captured the pureness of their bond perfectly. So beautifully done. Thank you so much. If I watch it one more time, I might collapse😂😂
Such an amazing edit massive respect 😢💯
You made me cryyyyyy
You deserve it! It is the best Grogu and Mando video I have seen, it is so moving...
You deserve much more for that Video
This is…like…not okay? You have no right to make me cry like this.
Gotta say i never cry at sad scenes in games or movies but this episode.. when grogu asks him to take his mask of and he finally sees his face and both look at eacjother one last time before the elevator closes made me look away my heart ached alot and i actually cried this episode was one of the best well written ones
Those little handcuffs🥰
Can’t watch without tears in my eyes😭❤️
Same
Same this is the way
Its so touching to see how much is going on in Din's Face arround 2:31 . You can see so many Emotions just within Seconds.
The most beautiful end scene ever in the SW universe. Can’t wait for season 3
IMO it is the end of the clone wars, but I respect your opinion
Din Djarin and Grogu Djarin, a clan of two.
This is the way!
Din djarin and din grogu.... but you nailed it before that episode was released
@@dominicwilliamson7912 for me they will always be Din Djarin and Grogu Djarin..
they called him Din Djarin for 3 Seasons, i refuse to believe that Djarin is his first name after everyone calling him Din the entire time
but yes, they are finally a family :D
now all thats left is Mom-Katan to join
Ahhhh! This made me cry... again! The relationship between Mando and Grogu was so pure and truly what we needed to see in 2020! The love between a parent and their child 🥺
I hope they will be able to see each other soon! 😭
You can see that around 3:15 when Luke is carrying Grogu away, DIN HAS TEARS IN HIS EYES😭🥰😭🥰😭
This episode was amazing and bittersweet especially as an adoptee
I hate to say this,,,,but i watch this every day after work
That one little scene... I remember he tried healing Mando with the force couple times ... awww ... I miss the dynamic duo!!
THEY LITERALLY HAVE THE PUREST LOVE I HAVE EVER WITNESSED AND THIS CAPTURED IT SO PERFECTLY THANK YOU ❤️
Someone's cutting a big amount of onions right now...
I never knew I needed this.
#ThisIsTheWay
Din and Grogu's Love is the
Purest Love In The Starwars Fandom
The Best Father In The Galaxy 😭
that ending gave me chills. The luke skywalker thing made me cry as well as the fact he took of his helmet. man omfg i cannot
I don’t care what y’all say this is the best fridging daddy son relationship you can have. It went from being his blunting to being his only priority. The ending is devastating. The saddest part is “I’ll see you again... I promise” and “alright pal it’s time to go.. don’t be afraid” I swear there relationship is amazing, he legit TOOK HIS HELMET OFF FOR HIM. I love din and the kid. I also love the actor which is a +.
I've never cried like this over any movie or show ever but I've been crying for at least 2 hours now😭
Imagine how happy Din will be at the Day he will see his Child again (after Grogus training with Luke) and the Joy he will feel when he reslizes what Progress the little one made.
This tv show gave me the strength that I needed to decide to have a child, It made me understand that feeling that i could not understand…the feeling of having some one to take care with my life. I owe this characters more than I ever thought I could own.
Thank you…thank you for showing me that this is the way
this felt like being stabbed 89 times in the chest, their love is just so pure and lovely. what a bond, what a story!!! that's his baby!!! that's his son!!!!
What a story. I agree. 👏💥
Correction, 1138 times in the heart
I had to watch this three times before I could actually see what was happening because I was crying so hard. Thank you for this masterpiece, your representation of their relationship is incredible
Thanks so much! And I totally feel ya. It took me even longer to make this because I had to cry like every fifteen minutes
Beautifully done, captured the bond between Din & Grogu and the heartbreak at their parting.😢
Ugh the ending made me tear up where mando takes off his mask and grogu touches his face 😢. The bond they both had made it hard seeing them leave eachother. I felt it when mando was crying
Not sure I'm gonna recover from this😭😭😭
A year later and my heart still melts when Grogu reacts to his name and the Mandalorian has a chuckle ♥️
Awesome edit! I really enjoyed it. Mando is definitely like his father...
Mando's laugh, when he said Grogu & the baby said huh. Great laugh! 😃
Everywhere I go, i see their faces. And sob again. This is beautiful. But, owwww.
There are two kinds of people...
#1. Grogu fans.
#2. People that should just walk into the ocean.
What a wonderful piece of art his character is. I was never a Disney person or a Star Wars fan. But they got me with Grogu.
I’m literally obsessed with the amazing editing of this video
Best duo of the year ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I cried a lot at the end of the episode when I saw a father leaving his child for his own safety was truly heart break. I just hope we can see Grogu returning with Mando at some point.
Their bond is stronger than beskar😭♥️. Really hope they are meet again in season 3. Thank you for this amazing video💎✨
I cant stop crying. They loved each other so much.
I cast wait for season 3 to see what happens next cause I want them to be together again.
Ive watched this 10 times and still crying
I actually almost cried this morning when I watched this episode, it brought back so any memories of what I felt when I first watch starts, and those same feelings came back while I was watching this video. My heart ❤ ♥ went up of joy and sadness 🥲🥲
The perfect bond between father and son
am I going to cry this time? YEA!
And am I going to cry every time I watch it? HECK YEA!!
Those heart-stopping moments! When the Dark Troopers zoom off with him..... when he's seen in those little shackles.... and the last scene where he puts his little green hand out and touches Din's face!!
Damn... I cant wait until next year... This break my heart so badly.. i want they together again next season
Above and beyond this story will always have a spot to stay in my heart ❤
Same for me
That Luke scene made me cry hard. Never thought I'd be seeing him again😭😭.
The bond between Mando and the child makes force ghost Anakin questioning himself and call him wannabe dad in many ways.
I did not need to cry THIS EARLY IN THE MORNING 😭
Best fictional dad and son ever! I love them so much! 😘😘
Oh my gosh I am literally crying in bed right now this was absolutely, soul-crushingly beautiful!!❤️❤️🥲🥲😭😭
The worst pain he's ever felt.
I shed tears when I watched the season finale. A great bond between Mando and Grogu. Getting by problems to keep each safe. I know they will make an episode where they will see each other again.
I didnt cry. But I smiled the whole time. :) its so sweet how the mando and baby yoda are like family. ❤
I couldn't even finish the video, because I'm still crying so much.
Annnnnnd- I'm back to watching this one every day :DD
At the end Grogu looks at Mando like “I will be ok” if Grogu thought he was in danger I don’t think he would have went with him. I just hope we can trust Luke.
Best duo in the world, Star wars is wonderful !
That was beautiful i love it im crying 😢
Don't know how many times I've watched this 🥰
I can't believe that I'm crying for something that doesn't exist...
Girls: Why boys so cold !
Boys: See the mandalorian... Tear drop down .This is the way
Girls: what?
Boys: * going full mandalorian way*
Boys: This. Is. The. Way.
Girls: First you cry at a TV show you should cry at the titanic now your wearing armor?
Boys: That. Is. Not. The. Way
Girls: fuck this shit im out
ig I'm a boy now
When Mando grabbed the ball from the wrecks of the Razor Crest... man that made me cry
Me too I knew that's what he was looking for.
I m. Agree, Mando is a gentleman, and he show us, how we can make the correct, without let to love, i cant imagine another actor making that scenes, he reallu make me cry, and I hope see them all together, Cara, Mando, Grogu, and all them
