The workers' cottage looks great, I do like the Metcalfe Kit's. They do make remarkably sturdy buildings, and they look great. I guess this means that the church is returning to its original planned position... Cheers, James and Dylan 🙂👍
Yes, I had a good long stare at the church in that position and decided to go with the original plan, which is on a wee hill over in the "forest", which is still a work in progress! 🙂 Cheers for stopping through! 🙂👍🏻
Hi, really liked the new position for the signal box. Reason is before the operator couldn’t see the points it was controlling in the old position as the main windows faced away from the points. The new position means the operator can see the points easily, this new part of the layout scenery is going to look great. Thanks
@@karl7994 Hey, thank you for that feedback. My thinking exactly! I was also concerned how the wee fellas were going to get there safely! I think this part of my first layout is where considerations like that are worth a step back. Again, cheers for the comments. Always great to hear how others see it! 🙂👍🏻
Nice detail! Just wondering, how would the people get from the right end of the town get to the left end of the town? Perhaps you could cut out a slot in th bushes and insert a gate perhaps? 3:51
@@SouthWestCrossingsUK That's a good shout! I'd been thinking about that. My solution was probably lazy because I just imagined they walked "into the distance" (the back scene) and came back, but now the wee fence is up I could open it up! Food for thought, buddy! 🙂👍🏻
