I have a very loose tension, too, when I knit. I knit continental style and now wrap the yarn twice around my little finger. That has made a lot of difference, and I dont have to grip the needles too hard. I love all the things you knit.
Have so much fun in Spain💖 and good luch with moving🍀 I also struggle a lot of times with my tension🙈 what helps for me is wrapping it around my pink and another finger if it needs to be tighter. But always pick going down needle-size too😂 your projects look amazing😍😍 the colors are beautiful!❤ have a nice holiday and happy new year🎉😊
Thank you so much ❤️ Haha good to know I'm not the only one that struggles this much with tension. It does differ with different yarn though, so in the future I want to keep that in mind. But happy new year to you too and a lovely christmas!! 😊
@@claudiasknits as a beginner spinner I know that there are so much more factors that can influence gauge🙈 bounce of yarn, thickness, (multi-)plyes, fibre-structure... You name it😄 just as you make your own knitted peace, having a little bit different measures isn't terrible. Only thing to keep in mind is the measurements you want😉
Another great episode! I love the Elizabeth blouse, I love green and I think the collar is really neat. It's not too preppy on you. I had pain in my left shoulder and armtoo from knitting, a doctor told me it was from hunching my shoulders forward when I knit. I try to work on pushing my shoulders back when I knit. It did get better.
Thank you so much! Good to hear your injury got better and that you've found a way to help or prevent it. It really sucks if you can't do what you love
As an old lady who has knitted for over 50yrs , may I recommend the benefits of using different knitting styles . I try to alternate English style , continental, lever knitting to avoid repetitive strain injury and also to still be able to knit when my athritis is playing up .I feel it helps. I hope that you recover soon . Happy New Year!
Oh my goodness, the green of the Elizabeth Blouse really makes your eyes pop, really a wonderful color on you!
Thanks! I love the color too

That sounds like a good solution! I try that sometimes, but up until now I don't like it unfortunately. It slows me down to much haha

your cardigan looks great, such a good fit on you, and I loved your mug rugs. 😀
Thank you 🥰 I love them as well
Mooi, die Storm sweater. Ik verzamel nu moed om aan de Ingrid sweater te beginnen ...😏
Doen! Ik denk dat het echt een trui is om lang te koesteren, dus het is het werk meer dan waard 😊
I am also currently knitting the elisabeth blouse in the exact same colour!
Oehh I can only say that it will be beautiful! Twins!
