Dustin is the best pure boxer in 155. The way he grinds man! Even under fire from hooker he wasn't fazed and picked his shots wisely. A championship Calibre fighter. And Dan hooker is an animal, worthy of top 5
I can’t express how much I love when you dump on all of these hold outs. This more than any other sport is about tough guys going in and fighting and getting their name out there.
Top level BJJ guys will give khabib trouble. Tony Ferguson and Charles Olivera against khabib would be so interesting. But khabib is a different animal in 155 maybe he will shut them like others
He just fought five rounds with Paul Felder, he did not by any means do more damage than DP, but he is also not a 3 round fighter. Hooker is Elite and the fact that he stood and banged with the Diamond that long says so.
Why would Dustin fight tony? Tony just lost in a bad way. Dustin should fight Conor, Conor just won as well. I think the ufc would stop preserving Conor if the clear fight is poirier after this win. Conor can beat poirier, and they have a heated history that sells. Dan off his loss should fight tony off his loss. Olivera needs to fight another opponent outside of the top 5. He hasn’t proven himself enough to be fastracking to title contention. these other dudes put in miles, hooker has racked impressive wins. Why would he fight olivera for.

Hi chapel, to focus on your point of Poirier sitting out until the title fight which could be months.. do you think it would be an okay idea to take something from boxing, “tune up” fights, it could give fighters outside the top 10 a chance to prove their worth against the top guys, there’s always an upset in fighting so we never know, I personally think it’s not a bad idea, it will keep fighters active and get them more £ which most desperately need

How amazing a scrap is one cut Ferguson vs Dustin Poirier, that gets my juices flowing
do a 155 lb grand-prix type round robin or something. make an interesting format and get all the 155 lb beasts in there together
You are awesome Chael keep doin your thing man
So many mocked Hooker. No more. Such a great fight and I’d love to see Hooker v Ferguson.
To me, it didn’t look like he changed much from the Felder fight. He gets hit so much. He just went through back to back wars. That ain’t good for you lol
Still a bum
@@Carlito_Brigante like you
Carlito Brigante you must be bored and need to move out of home. Rocketed up to #5 vs a seasoned fighter in #3. Go watch bellator.
Poirier Corner : Just having fun
Poirier : I'm having BLAST!
Wow chael making a huge statement there !!
I don’t watch MMA. Watching Chael is good enough.
Tony remains one of the greats of all time. He hasn't fought Khabib, Dustin, or Conor. There are five greats in this division (Khabib, Tony, Justin, Dustin and Conor) and many of them have not fought each other. I don't want a rematch before watching Khabib vs Tony or Conor vs Justin or Tony vs Dustin etc
I LOVE Tony, but I think the only one he has a chance of beating on that list is Dustin.
Dustin vs. Tony
Justin vs Khabib
@@newjerseydeals Justin vs Khabib is a done deal. But you don't think Tony can beat Conor??
So stoked that Dustin came back and got that win. Hooker is a fucking beast and his stock only went up.
Chael Sonnen retired as the undefeated champion
You were right Tony vs Dustin 😊 is on can’t wait
Poirier has a clear power advantage when he landed
Ate dans face up and dan hasn’t really took a lot of face damage in his career
Not really, hooker was the best the first 3 rds and nearly got Poirier out of there in the 2nd round
JxJxJxJx You might want to rewatch that 3rd round
@@bigfan1041 Poirier 1000% won the 3rd round
@@Agent_4547 You can make an argument for it, but I disagree. I'll probably rewatch the fight again later and could change my mind, but currently I think Hooker took it.
Was just watching the fight and was thinking the same thing. Awesome fight
Love u Chael, agree with u on most things u say, but Hooker didn't do more damage, Porier did.
Hooker took an otherworldly amount of damage, dude has a fucking chin and a half on him
Ok... ok...
Here we go Uncle Chael,
Hooker fights Ferguson loser vs loser
Poirier fights Conner winner vs winner and the winner of Poirier and Conner fights the winner of undisputed strap vs Khabib and Gaethje.
And let's throw Street Jesus vs Nate Diaz for good measure.
Tell Dana to hit me up if he needs any more help running his business...
Chael made his point by never uttering Masvidal's name. F*cking GANGSTER.
Dustin definitely won razer thin but damn I can’t make up my mind. Zang vs Joanna? Hooker vs Dustin? Fight of the year is crazy
If you an MMA fighter or fan and you dont know uncle chael you are automatically fall into the casual category.
Right bruh!! The current lightweight champion is the father of all lightweight fighters
Fucking rat spotted
@Jack Of Most Trades ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. you just cracked me up. That made my day. Well said.
Top level BJJ guys will give khabib trouble. Tony Ferguson and Charles Olivera against khabib would be so interesting. But khabib is a different animal in 155 maybe he will shut them like others
100,000 new fans? I don't think there was ever a better time to have four 3rd round submissions and two 1st round knockouts!
Hooker did more damage? You must be drinking hard Chael! Hooker is a 3 round fighter
I couldn't agree more. He gases out by the 3rd. And Hooker seems to think he can go to to toe with Tony, Gaethje and Khabib
He just fought five rounds with Paul Felder, he did not by any means do more damage than DP, but he is also not a 3 round fighter. Hooker is Elite and the fact that he stood and banged with the Diamond that long says so.
I love Tony style but Hooker is not far behind either that's my next fight pick Tony Hooker
Dustin Conor
@@ivorybigglesworth329 in the paul felder fight he majorly gassed In the 4th n 5th n could have easily lost that fight.
Carlos Martinez You invalidate your comment when you mention Conor. Just focus on active LW fighters that have earned their place in the rankings.
This main event just fucked Jones and Masvidal’s “negotiations” 😂 😂
Jon Jones n Jorge after watching this : "Man, I'm convinced let's sign the contract now."
Absolutely
Next fights should be in lightweight division,
1. Khabib vs Gaethje
2. Dustin vs Tony
3. Dan vs Charles Olivera
Gastellum/Adesanya Round 5
One of the best fights I've ever seen, next to Juanna vs Wei Li! Both amazing fights. Dustin thrives in the pain, he wakes up 10-15 mins in and just takes over. If he makes it to round 4 he is winning! Much love!
I’m so underpaid I’m gunna take three years off to prove i don’t get payed enough...... make sense too you? No me either.
Sure, it could potentially work as a negotiation tactic.
@@seanmatthewking lets see how that works out. You do not get more money by being inactive and fading away.
jesse chilton I like the guy but I’m getting real tired of sugar crapping on about more money.
jesse chilton from what iv read they don't get paid much by UFC directly more from endorsements and sponsorship, why not while your stocks are high and everyone's talking about you sit back and make some money if he fights and loses and stocks drop he won't be at this point ever, I see what thee guys are doing and I would do the same, since masvidal beat Diaz he become known and probably tripled his income for endorsements and sponsors if he's going sit out 2 years and come back fresh his stocks will double again no doubt, cejudo as well smart guys he can fight one more time in 3 years will let him retire alone
jesse chilton unless ur dave chappelle
I mean he did predict that the title fight would be in may
Never forget Brian Stann v Wanderlei Silva. If you don't remember, go back and watch it.
Bro that was madness LMAO Stann went for it
True fight fan
Thanks Chael for ur videos from Paris France
I said that rd 1 and 2 were classic after the fight!
When you're the best fighter in the world today, they don't call you the best fighter. They call you Chael Sonnen.
My GF is a new Mike Perry fan!
Lmaooooo
Mine too bro
Chael, if you had not said a word before your fights no one would care to much, however your character made you one of my all time favorite fighters. And look forward to your media press conferences, post fight interviews almost as much as the fights.
Why 99 percent of fighters have not caught on, still amazes me.
Chael was funny tho most peoples attempts it it are poor just look at curtis blaydes
uncle Cheal spitting facts at the end of the video
Masvidal fuckin up
Poirier vs Ferguson for #1 contender status, IMO.
Lol.. did everyone forget wtf happened against Justin?
Poirier absolutely almost killed dan in the 5th round... 💎 is back lets go.
Was also 10 secs away from being fibished at the end of the 2nd
I watched every second of this fight. It was great. I think after the 3rd Hooker knew he wasn't getting Porier out of there. Dustin wanted it a little more. Good video Chael
Man that 2nd round where Dustin started swinging while he was in a Thai Clinch.... Nasty
McGregor vs Poirier 2. If Dustin is smart he will try and get that one back and if he wins that will catapult him right into any fight he wants.
Good idea but McGregor can still crack him. Stylistically. Even though I think Poirier is a better fighter overall.
I come to you as a new fan who has never seen GSP fight, however because of his legacy I know GSP. I also found you because of your legacy. The history matters
