Ferguson vs Poirier and Hooker vs Oliveira. Winner of the former is next in line for the title shot, winner of the latter faces the loser of the former. Make it happen!
Only fight that makes sense for Tony is Conor. Big pay day, even if he loses, he can sail off to the sunset, and if he wins automatically qualifies for contender-ship. Vice versa for Conor, a win over Ferguson and he’s got the title shot.
After witness the fight between Tony and Justin I can say that Tony is the toughest of all. Tony took the most powerful shots of Justin in the first few rounds and didn't even blink and that makes me believe that nobody else can knockout Tony Ferguson be it poirier or anybody else.
@@whiteblack6936 Conor is a master of analysing fighter and reading them, however Conor has always been hesitant of fighting Tony because Conor knows that he can't predict Tony. Conor already knew how to defeat poirier, aldo and alvarez but he can't do the same thing with Tony. If Conor believed he could knock Tony out he would have fought Tony already.
There are so many things to be considered here. Poirier has two options, he can have a rematch with Conor (red panties night) and risk his contendership compared to risking against Tony. Or he can just wait out for Khabib Vs Gaethje and in case Gaethje wins he has a strong case for Championship fight because he has already beaten him, and even Gaethje admitted his interest in this fight. And that's the exact reason he said he wants to rest. If Khabib wins then he definitely will have to take one more fight against Tony or Conor for contendership. But Conor is not interested in fighting Poirier and Tony wants to be a contender asap. He will also prefer to fight Conor rather than Poirier. Hooker Vs Tony can be done as soon as they ready, maybe on the same card as Khabib Vs Gaethje. Among all this mess we also have Oliveira waiting for his opportunity to challenge for the title, who also I think needs one more big win to become #1 contender. So considering all these scenarios I see the following fights shall be made in LW division. Tony Vs Hooker/Oliviera Conor Vs Hooker /Oliviera Winner of these matches can be given Championship opportunity. Either of the loser can fight Poirier in case Khabib remains the Champion.
As much as I’d love either of those fights I think Tony Ferguson Vs Olivera stylistically would be a master piece 🤯 They both have a wild unpredictable stand Up game And Crazy insane submissions!!! I’d give the stand up edge to Tony with Olivera being technically more sound on the ground.
I don’t think Tony is going to be ready to fight for a while. Did you see how much damage he took in that Gaethje fight? I think Poirier needs to call out Conor McGregor, schedule that fight for a month or two after Khabib v Gaethje and then the winner of each fight fights each other for the title. As for Tony, he should fight somebody like Paul Felder, Hooker, or Oliviera but not til the end of the year, like November or December because Tony shouldn’t be rushed back into the cage any time soon.
If everyone wants to recover since they all had these wars recently, I’d say Tony should’ve had his title shot so let him train and recover from his last fight and fight for the title next regardless of who wins between Justin and khabib
Olivera's ground game is dangerous af. However in Olivera's last few fights, he's been wobbling his opponents on the feet and when they're trying to survive, he chokes them out. Olivera is the dark horse in the division to beat Khabib. I want to see what happens when Khabib take Olivera down. Olivera vs Poirier for the next title shot. Olivera has the UFC record for submissions, that's gotta be worth something. Unless Gaethje beats Khabib, then Poirier will want the next shot. The lightweight division is the best and that's without an active Conor.
Did anyone see Hooker after that fight? The dude was busted up and couldn't stand without help. He definitely had a concussion and that alone puts him out for a while. If I were the matchmaker, I'd throw Conor and Tony in there now and put Poirier against the winner for the next title shot. Dana already has said that Conor is next in line, why not make him win another fight before another title shot. Like him or not, he's a big draw for the PPV.
My man where do you leave Oliveira??? , Oliveira have to fight with tony, or Dustin have to fight with tony , or Hooker have to fight with oliveira, but Hooker with Tony doesn't have much sense
Yeah i think dustin vs fergunson for the next tittle shot because they both really deserve it Tony was waiting a long time for the tittle fight and he unfortunately did not get it and dustin, with his amazing war against dan hooker, i think is the best fight to make
It has to be Dustin v Tony if Dustin wants the one fight until another shot ATT, Hooker needs to run it back with Feldor as he lost that fight marginally with accompanied bias over the overall opinions.
Dustin Poirier is my second favorite fighter. But I truly do not know if he should be thrown in the cage against Ferguson. The ABSOLUTELY ONLY way that fight should happen is if it takes place on the same night as Khabib V Gaethje. Either way, Hooker shouldn’t even be in the same conversation as Tony.
People don't understand that tony is 36 or 37, went threw 2 weight cuts, trained for a completely different fighter in khabib, fought with no crowd, was on a 14 plus winning streak, and had Eddie Bravo who is a wrestling coach in his corner telling him to throw sand in Justin's eyes(Even eddie said he shouldn't of been in Tony's corner that fight). And everyone is gonna act like tony has been overrated for years. Shit if there was 10 to 20 more seconds in the 2nd round tony would of won. People who say he's overrated are just stupid. Honestly he took a beating and might never be the same fighter but if I had to bet money in it I say he's gonna be in a mission in his next couple of fights. Also the ufc robbed him and took the chance to fight khabib for the belt away from him. Win or lose he should've been next in line.
In what world can you say “Tony is ready to go” he broke an orbital bone and clearly was in a savage war..... he’s not fighting until late 2020 early 2021
There’s been what, a grand total of 4 title fights since 2015 at lightweight? The top fighters gonna be retired by the time they fight!!! HURRY UP!!!! Khabib has been stalling the devision since he became champ

Hooker v Ferguson. Poirier has earned another shot at the title
No he hasn't
But Chael, what weightclass do we anticipate on TUF??
Sounds to me like Poirer and Mcgregor should coach Middleweights on TUF lol
Ferguson vs Poirier and Hooker vs Oliveira. Winner of the former is next in line for the title shot, winner of the latter faces the loser of the former. Make it happen!
Chael: Posts at 12:42* Everyone in the comments rn: okay great
I would love to see Poirier vs Ferguson but I also don’t wanna wait until December or longer to see tony fight again
poreir gonna fight until dcecembre or the next year bro
Jorge Sanchez yeah I’m saying I don’t want tony to have to wait that long to fight again though
Tito tapped!!!!!!!!
Only fight that makes sense for Tony is Conor. Big pay day, even if he loses, he can sail off to the sunset, and if he wins automatically qualifies for contender-ship. Vice versa for Conor, a win over Ferguson and he’s got the title shot.
Dustin Poirier vs Tony Fergurson and the winner gets the next title shot, and Hooker vs Charles Oliveira for top 5 lw status
After witness the fight between Tony and Justin I can say that Tony is the toughest of all. Tony took the most powerful shots of Justin in the first few rounds and didn't even blink and that makes me believe that nobody else can knockout Tony Ferguson be it poirier or anybody else.
McGregor could knock him out
@@whiteblack6936 Conor is a master of analysing fighter and reading them, however Conor has always been hesitant of fighting Tony because Conor knows that he can't predict Tony. Conor already knew how to defeat poirier, aldo and alvarez but he can't do the same thing with Tony. If Conor believed he could knock Tony out he would have fought Tony already.
Dan Hooker just gave full credit to uncle Chael for reading his mind. By the way, he made the call out. Good job uncle Chael, as usual.
Dustin vs Conner tony vs dan
connie is at home with blue lips and blue panties
Tony Vs Hooker/Oliviera
Conor Vs Hooker /Oliviera
Winner of these matches can be given Championship opportunity.
I’d give the stand up edge to Tony with Olivera being technically more sound on the ground.
its about to fgo dor the belt no to make a stylish fight
Dustin vs. Tony yep
I think him vs Mcgregor would be a great title contention
Whoa Ferg... No one has thought of that!!
I just don't understand
McChickens record at 155
Is 1:1 so how is he drank number for??
4
hold up.
you said tony is ready to go?
didn’t he just break his orbital bone against gaethje a couple of months ago?
my thoughts exactly!!!
I see tonys still that type of guy..
Tony is the type of guy to cut weight three times and fight with a fractured orbital bone
Daniel MacEachern if it were up to ferguson, yeah, he’d probably fight.
but i dont think he’d get cleared medically to fight by the doctors.
he's got pockets full of sand to throw, he will be fine.
Conor vs Poirier & Hooker vs Ferguson. Same card, done!
Ya, let's get back to throwing all the tough fights at Tony so connie and khabib can skate past everyone again...
It happened when Romero stepped in Costa's place vs Izzy
mark my words that this will happen, Mcgregor vs DP for #1 contender and Hooker vs Ferguson. It will be on the same PPV
That wouldn't be awesome
You really think they’ll give Dustin another shot at the title that quickly ?
I don't see McGregor taking a rematch with Poirier without a belt on the line. I'd love to see it though.
Liam Morgans who else would he fight he’s clearing out the division
@@liammorgans7329 If he beats McGregor, Hell yes they will
I don’t think Tony is going to be ready to fight for a while.
Still think Tony vs McGregor should be the next fight, but if Conor's serious about retirement Tony Vs Dustin would be a close second
No use of match making, tony, porier and hooker not gonna fight this year, damage is heavy
Tony will fight again this year.
@Matiu Russell hoker will fight in december or next year bro
Imo Dan Hooker is on a 2 fight losing streak he should fight either a top 10 or Oliveira. Poirier vs Ferguson is the fight to make.
How about Khabib vs Justin and Dustin? They might actually stand a chance
If everyone wants to recover since they all had these wars recently, I’d say Tony should’ve had his title shot so let him train and recover from his last fight and fight for the title next regardless of who wins between Justin and khabib
But I see why porier and Tony should fight
Hooker vs tony & porier vs mcregor - whoever looks most impressive fights champ
how does he just sit in front of the camera and riff like this? its actually a really hard skill!?
Poirier vs. McGregor, Ferguson vs. Hooker. Winners fight each other for #1 Contender? Sounds good
Dustin vs Conor. Hooker vs Tony. Make that happen
Fuck no dude Dustin vs Tony is the fight to make Conor doesn't deserve that fight
How long will the commission give em though?
Did anyone see Hooker after that fight? The dude was busted up and couldn't stand without help. He definitely had a concussion and that alone puts him out for a while. If I were the matchmaker, I'd throw Conor and Tony in there now and put Poirier against the winner for the next title shot. Dana already has said that Conor is next in line, why not make him win another fight before another title shot. Like him or not, he's a big draw for the PPV.
Dustin vs Tony , Charles Oliveria vs Dan Hooker We keep forgetting about Charles he’s up and coming
My man where do you leave Oliveira??? , Oliveira have to fight with tony, or Dustin have to fight with tony , or Hooker have to fight with oliveira, but Hooker with Tony doesn't have much sense
Hooker vs Oliveira is what need to happen next for these two.
And Tony should fight Poirier.
That’s it no other way around.
@@JamzFeed That's right Hooker had his chance, Now is Oliveiras turn
The Diamond v Notorious
The Hangman v El Cucuy this is the main and co main
You are welcome Uncle
None of this matters if diamond is number two in lightweight. And he should be.
Porier should fight Mctapper. That's the best match up.
Make your move Poirier. The lightweight division isn't going to wait for you.
Make Dustin vs Tony , winner gets Khabib . Man every mma fan wanted Tony vs Khabib .
