Hi, have you experienced much more hair loss than normal after taking a break of MSM? Im quite curious because I've read of people who suffered from extreme hair loss after stop using/quitting it.
I’m glad you mentioned letting land rest, my family has been working to align our lives with the Word and the Will of the Father and the Sabbath year of rest is so important for refreshing the earth to provide us with healthy food!
I’ve been taking MSM internally for more than 5 years. I’ve used many different brands. I tried the brand that you recommended, I start taking this brand 3 months ago and there is a marked difference between this MSM and the other brands that I’ve tried. I believe the sulfur content is higher and it’s more pure thereby having less side effects and adverse reactions, and much more potent. Thank you for the recommendation! Best wishes on your move! ❤❤
I've studied MSM for years. A purer version of MSM does not lead to less side effects. It's potency is higher. The only way to avoid die-off or the effects of detoxifying from MSM is to start with a small dose and increase slowly. The fillers are not responsible for the detoxification. It's the MSM. Please don't make claims if you haven't studied it.
OMG! I started taking the MSM 2 weeks ago in my coffee. No taste difference! In 2 weeks, my hair has finally started growing. This is freaking amazing, because I lost a bunch on top almost 2 years ago and nothing has helped. I also add the Amla powder into it. I made the hair oil recipe and have used it twice and am rinsing with AC vinegar. Even my husband noticed it. I am giving my hair a rest from bleaching and using a blonde root powder to supplement and it is working nicely. I cannot thank you enough. I have spent hundreds of dollars on every serum, shampoo, mask, vitamin, etc. I think I am on the right track now. Full disclosure, I also had my hormones rechecked and we needed to change my formula. This stuff is amazing!

MSM is great for so many health conditions, and it is general a safe, but the problems occur when you take too much too quickly. MSM really belos, but for some people they are supposed to use it toppically as a leave-in , in the hair. The hair grows the same way as if you are taking internally, it makes new hair to grow
I used MSM in small doses intermittently during pregnancy and lactation, and when my baby boy was born, these were the doctor's words: " This baby is perfect." Plus, he was born with a full head of hair compared to my first born who was born bald ( probably a coincidence). Nevertheless, I would never advise anyone to do this 😊.
A question - I am considering starting to ingest MSM as a supplement. I have PCOD i.e. Poly cystotic Ovarian Syndrome. One affect of this condition is excessive hair growth in areas u never want to see hair - I have very heavy hair growth on my chon amd around my upper lip. Also in other provate areas. PCOS / PCOD also oddly enough causes hair loss on your scalp. So of course want to improve shedding and thinning of my hair on my scalp but I dont want extra hair growth on my chin, upper lip, or my neck. Help!
Hey Katherine, I'm binge watching your videos. Love them so much! Have you heard of hair loss after stopping the intake of MSM? I've heard of people experiencing extremely hair loss (big strains falling out), after taking a break. And that their hair needed couple of month to get in a normal balance/hair grow situation. I've read that after a break, even of a weak you gonna start by zero so you have to go through all the negative side effects again. What's your experience after a break of MSM? Sorry for my English it's not my first language. Whish you the best :)
Hey, I used 1 pack since the beginning of this year and stopped for a couple of months now and I didn’t have any exaggerated hair loss. Hope this helps
@@dayanecunha1145Thank you for your answer :) The women in the video I've seen, said that she may have this extreme hair loss because when taking the MSM, the grow period of the hair is waaay longer than "normal" so through MSM your hair won't fall out. But after taking a long break the benefits are gone and all the hair that "couldn't" fall, will then fall out. I hope you can understand what I mean... The comments section of the video was full with people who faced the same situation. I would so likely try MSM but I'm also kind of afraid... But thank you for sharing your experience with me!
@@hallihallo8936 of course. I think each person will have a different experience, however I feel like it is worth a try? Even if you experience some hair loss I don’t think you would lose the hair you had originally before taking it.

Hey, I did not experience any hair loss after stopping MSM. The only down side was my hair growing slower (less than 1cm per month verses 1.5cm per month if I take msm). Never experienced any side effects. MSM works well for my body. I train every day, when I take MSM my joints don’t hurt. If I don’t take it for more than 3 months, I have joint aches. It’s important to take good quality MSM and start with very small doses. Best checking with your doctor if you take any meds.
@@tsuyuasui7297not on its own. It mainly promotes skin health. I don’t lighten my skin, but watch people’s Channel’s who do. Besides bleaching, they have good skincare tips.
I very much appreciate all your tips for healthy hair growth. However, this is one that I personally will have to skip due to a medical condition called Lymphocytic Colitis. It's possible that I get enough sulfur in my diet because I don't tolerate plants. I eat a carnivore diet and meat is apparently rich in sulfur. The only plant products I can tolerate is a small amount of black coffee and a single glass of cabernet wine - as long as there are no added sulfites. That right there makes me thing that adding a sulfur supplement will likely set off my symptoms. That said, I'm wondering about my homemade bone broth and the collagen and other nutrients it contains. I use as natural animal products as possible - fully grassfed beef, forrested pork, and pastured chicken. Whatever connective tissues fall off the bone in cooking I'll keep and mix in with ground beef for a meal. Do you know much about these nutrients and hair growth? I have noticed improvements in my hair since going carnivore, only made better when I started using the clay wash and ACV rinse and eliminated heat drying. I've gotten out of the habit of drinking broth everyday, and now I'm wondering if I should get back into it.
I did the clay wash and what can i say....my hair felt strong and fuller but i have a question...how many times can i use it in a week....i usually cleanse my hair twice a week so can i use it for both times??
Funny enough I give my horse msm for joint. And then your video popped up after watching board bristle brush😂 this is awesome tho. I’m learning so much!
I've been taking MSM on and off for a few years as well. But I haven't really kept track of hair growth. Interestingly, for me it doesn't taste bitter at all - it tastes like nothing ((and I have tried a couple different brands - both 100% pure flakes). Apparently it's based on a certain gene some people either have it or don't, and that makes it perceived as bitter.
The simple fact there are synthetic imitation compounds whilst apart there are naturally derived compounds and hopefully it is derived/extracted with no added synthetic chemical processes.
Be careful with this one. I had a suicidal reaction to it. I realized that it was similar to cow dairy, to which I have the same reaction. If you try something new, START SLOW!
@@TarotOverOracle I've been an herbalist for years. I'm extremely sensitive to anything that plays with hormones like sage or licorice. I found out that the cow dairy made me severely depressed because of the hormones in the cow's milk. MSM did exactly the same thing. I'm not sure why, but I suspect it activated hormones. Many women have depression reactions to hormones, crying, depression, anger, etc. I don't normally have crying jags, but got that paralyzing depression that I had for years and years with dairy. Now sheep and goat dairy do not have that reaction in me, but the feeling in MSM was exactly that, the hormone reaction. But there was a woman who broke out when she ate nettles, so that's why I say start slow. The body is a very complex organism.
Any tips for drinking it to bypass the bitter taste? Also, are you saying, you no longer use the oil recipe. i just made my first jar of the oil.I hate to think I bought all those ingredients for nothing.
It seems strange, but you can add salt to whatever you're drinking it with. The molecules in salt react to bitter foods and they neutralize each other. It works with other bitter things, too, like tea or coffee. I get looks sometimes but I put a dash of salt whenever I drink either, and it makes a big difference.

@@linley5530 😁🏃🏻♀lol… I started slowly, like you 1/4 tsp to watch how my body felt. Over a few weeks I added more since I felt better. I have a homeopathic practitioner and since I was having good results we tested it for compatibility with my body 💯% helpful for me. Sometimes a supplement will be ok but not 💯 match, this MSM is 🙌for me.
Put it in my hair masks works for me
I’m glad I found your video. I do have a question which is I noticed you added the msm to plain water…..how is the taste? Is it bitter? Thank you in advance✌🏽
I hope MSM helps my hair. I am post menopausal and suffering from Alopecia and I am Celiac. I need all the help I can get...lol! If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears. Thanks for sharing Katherine.
MSM really belos, but for some people they are supposed to use it toppically as a leave-in , in the hair. The hair grows the same way as if you are taking internally, it makes new hair to grow
Have you seen a doctor? Use estrogen patches and take progesterone at night. They work wonders
Optimsm is what you want.
Your hair is beautiful!
Thanks. I didn't realise you need to take it on an empty stomach
Help!
Can you spray msm on the hair for growth?
On the scalp, yes. I am about to begin selling my herbal hair growth oil which contains MSM.
Hi Katherine you are saying that we should no mix the powder vitamin c with the msm, but take it at a later time?
@@dayanecunha1145Jeah I think if something like this would happen, it will go back to normal. But I think it's mentally really stressful to see and feel your hair fall out.
Maybe I give it a try one day :)
Hey,
I did not experience any hair loss after stopping MSM.
Has anyone noticed any effects on their menstrual cycle? Shorter, longer, missing periods?
Thanks! 💕
I want to know this too?
Can anyone share experience?
Apparently it can make your cramps feel less extreme
I first found out about MSM a year ago from the skin lightening side of TH-cam. Glad to see more people talking about its benefits
Does msm lighten the skin?
@@tsuyuasui7297not on its own. It mainly promotes skin health. I don’t lighten my skin, but watch people’s Channel’s who do. Besides bleaching, they have good skincare tips.
@@tsuyuasui7297I'm a guy yes it does lighten the skin if you combine it with vitamin c , definitely definitely works , better skin quality
From what I can see, I love the look and style of the reddish blouse or dress you have on❣️ Where did you get it? Thanks
She might have made it as she makes a lot of her clothes too - has lots videos on this.
Will the hair go into extreme shedding once you discontinue use? Or do I have to take this forever?
Yes, all of those nutrients are amazing for hair, skin, and overall health! 💕
@@KatherineSewing Thank you! And I'm guessing the reply below this one is spam?
@@sheamcintoshford-author5494Yup that's a scammer all right❤
I have a question. How long do the ingredients for the hair oil and the "shampoo" last in months? Thanks!
Can my son take it , he’s 18 years old
I did the clay wash and what can i say....my hair felt strong and fuller but i have a question...how many times can i use it in a week....i usually cleanse my hair twice a week so can i use it for both times??
Yes.
Does taking msm internally make hair grow on other parts of your body! Does it increase facial hair?
No, it doesn't.
Depends…my eyelashes, facial hairs, body hairs increased
Funny enough I give my horse msm for joint. And then your video popped up after watching board bristle brush😂 this is awesome tho. I’m learning so much!
Good for skin?
You can take it in tablet form
Can you add msm to a drink that has vitamin C?
Yes
Yes! It might actually go hand and hand with each other.
Does it have to be filtered water I mix my msm in? Thank you for your wonderful videos!!
I tried many different kinds(brands) of MSM, and it breaks me out. I think it's the sulfur.
What about the other recommendation
Organika MSM- Joint and Inflammation Support Powder . Should we take it too?
I recommend that as a cheaper starting option that is still from a good brand.
I've only tried it twice but it's given me real bad stomach aches. Lots of gas. Worst smell in the world😅
Just take a smaller dose I imagine?
Yes you should try a smaller dose. How much are you currently taking?
Would this by any chance cause alot of hair shedding?
Not at all. Less shedding.
Wow…..Everything is tremendously going up in Prices w this Economy Horrid extremely High Inflation, Fire all Politicians in charge😡🤬😡🤬
does this help joints too ?
Hi. From the comments, I believe it can. A good amount experience pain relief. I just ordered some today. We shall see.
You didn't put the dates on the before or after photos.
Thank God for TH-cam enabling x2 speed
😂
Make sense now.
I don’t see the link to order the MSM and bar shampoo.
I am allergic to sulfa medication. Can I take MSM?
Please consult your doctor.
What is the best tea for beast milk
Any tea with Fenugreek or take Fenugreek supplement. Also express milk frequently after
You are beautiful! You look like the daughter of yourself in the first photo. Amazing!❤
Works boron and silica…
I put it in my oatmeal as it’s nasty and oatmeal hides it ❤
COMPLETELY CONFUSED. If it is better to use sulfur-free shampoo, WHY are we are told to ingest it in this video?
Isn't it sulfate free shampoo?
@@Lavender_2002Yes
Sulfate shampoo is different than the sulfur that YOUR body naturally produces 😐 hope this helps!
There is NO exactly this Happy Body msm on UK Amazon!(((( Who knows which one's good???
Optimsm made by bergstorm is high value!!!! Available at different health stores in uk and Europe :)
The simple fact there are synthetic imitation compounds whilst apart there are naturally derived compounds and hopefully it is derived/extracted with no added synthetic chemical processes.
can a 16 year old take it or is it harmful?
Yes you can! If you have any concerns you should consult with a doctor but it’s fine at your age to take this.
Your videos are wonderful. I'm from Brasil.
So wait….you arent using all of the oils you previously were using 😮
Be careful with this one. I had a suicidal reaction to it. I realized that it was similar to cow dairy, to which I have the same reaction. If you try something new, START SLOW!
Really?? Wow i'm so sorry to hear this. I don't mean to doubt you, but are you sure about this? I need to find more info on this.
Make sure you are taking a very high quality of MSM.
You can take vitamin D3 for depression it works. I take 3 capsules per day
Wow! That's extreme.
Do you take it with warm or cold water?
I take it with lukewarm.
@@KatherineSewing thank you so much.
What happens if you take it with cold water?
Warning: It gave me gray hair. No joke.
@@thesilvercanis I found I can put it in my coffee and also add the AMLA powder, which is sweeter and I don't notice any difference. Yay!
@@susanyakus7364 nice, glad you found a solution! :)
Easy. Just chew on a single Miracle Berry for a minute or so and then drink it. Makes it taste like lemonade! Yummy!

There are synthetic imitation compound s and Organic natural compounds. Be very careful!
that's why crystal form is probably better for organic/authenticity - anything can be mixed in with a powder and you would never know.
