Net curtain wire from your grans curtains, is great for feeding wire thru the shell. :D

Always feed your curtain wire downhill then pull your loom backwards up thru the shell. You did the right thing with the main loom.I used to work at Rover and they always started from inside the car and put the engine bay part of the loom out thru the bulkead

Hi Matt, just want to say i have bin following your videos since Christmas.👍 i think your videos are sweet and full of relevant good information. obviously companys like to keep there skill craft close to their chest. plus there is a lack of good quality vids like yours that are actually helpful on youtube. and vid 95 is exactly where i am up to with my project. so you help alot with the rear loom, saved me racking my brains. How long did it takes you to fit the front wiring loom and locate
all the relative wires for the engine to start, or did your father fit the loom... (vid of the injury)😠? i take it you will be fitting the headlinning after paint? Anyway keep up with the good work and progress Matt ✌👌👌

Matt, I was going to tell you when I was there that you would need to start threading your rear loom forward from inside the boot... ;-)

Also, surprised you didn't 'service' or at least test the heater at all before installing, and are you sure you got the inlet/outlet round the right way? Does it matter.

i thought about it , but it was simpler to just plug in and try , easy to remove , i gave it a good clean out with compressed air , maybe there is a correct way to plumb in , but the heater matrix is so small in my view it wont matter , and they are so bad anyway...
