Biniam Girmay could have won the sprint but unfortunately he got boxed in the final 200m; that was bad positioning but he will learn from that and become stronger.

I don’t understand why quick step are not taking Cav to the Tour 😡
......last year Cavendish didn't compete with the best sprinters at the tour because they were AWOL. Cavendisg is officially the teams 'second' sprinter.
The fear is that Ewan would slaughter him. But Ewan's riding is becoming predictable that he keeps crashing out so I think the fears for the Tour are unwarranted.

To be honest biniam was blocked by the three rides, he could have won this one.
I'll say this now, June 1st. If Quick Step goes with Fabio in le Tour, I'll say it now, he won't win a single stage. While I can understand going with youth, he still isn't in the class of a Cavendish. There's so much more to winning sprints than pure power and speed. This is where Cav excels. Frankly, it's an insult to Cav and cycling fans to Not have him on team. (if staying injury free is what he and Fabio does). Check out his impressive rankings, still higher than Fabio's. This kid Cav, aside from his own physical setbacks, has had to deal with this kind of treatment so often in his career. Think about this, all the commotion over Bennett last year. Ponder it, how many sprints has Bennett won since? Personally, i don't think Cav is so distraught over missing this particular tour, as it doesn't afford many opportunities.
There were possibility he failed on choosing the right place.

It's has been a frustrating start to the Italian Giro for young Bini, in stage one he was hit behind that contributed him finshing 2nd. And now in stage three he was boxed that denied him his potential.
