I just stumbled upon your channel and I just want to say a BIG thank you for making Power Ranger content! When it comes to superhero cosplay/props/3D printing there is an abundance of Marvel/DC/Star Wars content, but never rangers. Your helmet videos have helped clear up so many specific questions on process. Please keep the ranger content coming! Also I’m enjoying the other obscure things like Beetleborgs and Turboman. Marvel is great and all but it’s so over saturated… it’s so nice to see other IPs get content. Keep up the great work!
I’ve always been a fan of the Lunar Wolf helmet. Also the Shadow Ranger’s but it seems super difficult with the red areas on the side that look like car lights. Most people just just color them red but there’s a texture to it underneath
I'll have to give them a look and see. Some helmets definitely are tough, I think it's time force that has the giant triangle colored visors idk how to do that well
Which Upol do you use? I've found a few different glazing putties from Upol at my local auto store. Also, any thoughts on using wood filler instead of glazing putty? Thanks for the amazing video
I use the purple tube of upol, I do not recommend wood filler at all, it reactivates in water so wet sanding is bad with it and it gums up sandpaper so bad. If you watch my buster sword video I did one side bondo one side wood filler to test

Saw that one it’s been a huge help, wasn’t sure if you changed anything for the large point at the back of the helmet. Printing on a k1 max and trying to find the best orientation so I don’t have to cut the print

I am having trouble cutting masking tape properly for the small details. Do you have any tips?
Not sure if you could see in the video but I grabbed a set of sculpting tools from harbor freight that I use to push the tape in before cutting
