    I believe what you were observing was the plane passing through sections of the atmosphere that had differing temperature & humidity...
    If the air around the plane is cold & humid, the jet passing through will condense the water vapor into ice crystals forming "Con" or condensation trails
    When the plane then passes into drier, warmer air the ice crystals will turn back into water vapor may disappear from view within a few minutes...
    The contrails will often take funny shapes (like swirls) due to the vortices generated by the wings & control surfaces..
    The upper level atmosphere is constantly changing causing turbulence and offering the passengers a bumpy ride...

    You're not crazy when it comes to chemtrails. As a matter of fact Tennessee recently banned all chemtrails in their state. Look it up if you think I'm kidding.

    Hey Jeff good video 👍 here in New Zealand the labor charge out rates are well over $100 / hr now ! You have to fix your own gear or go broke . I only have a Cat digger (312) can’t afford Cat but have a Euclid scraper , a Euclid 8240 dozer and today I’m taking delivery of a Komatsu 155 - an old girl that I bought from an estate it’s in very good condition . Got a lot of logging roads and skid pads to build in the next year or so.
    Hey do you travel ? Come to New Zealand for “wheels at wanaka “ in Easter 2025 it’s a show of classic earthmovers, trucks , they all are working in a dirt paddock . Cat d9s all models, d8s , terex,Euclid, cat 630,cat660, Ihtd25 Euclid 8280, Tc12 I think you’d love it ! You’re a good careful operator on the machine . Good on ya mate 👍

    Hey Jeff! Watching you move all those rocks with the 9 I come up with an idea. Do you remember the Pet Rock craze a few years back? You could put a sign out front...Pet Rocks sold here. Sell a bunch of them and that will help cut down on the 9's fuel consumption... and help save the planet.

    He flew into warm air ... A contrail is produced when a jet engine's exhaust gas - mainly the water vapour - freezes. It creates a linear cloud. While contrails are usually continuous, they can be intermittent if the air temperature and humidity vary across their lengths. Isn't, science great. :-) :-) ... Interesting bend in that rubber link hose ... at 21:10

      Yup. right. The problem being is that there is a certain amount of combustible hydro-carbons in fuel and to add any amount of "other chemicals" to the fuel to both keep the airplane aloft and to emit "chemicals" in the quantity some people believe is being "Chem-Trailed" the airplane wouldn't be able to carry anything but fuel and chemicals and nothing else. So, the idea of "Chem-Trails" doesn't add up to any amount worth worrying about. (Because there are times when the National Science Foundation or NASA or some other gov entity does spray chemicals, usually silver iodidies or the like to seed clouds which already exist for rain, but never in clear blue skies)

  • @woodhonky3890
    @woodhonky3890 2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

    Hate to crinkle up anybody's tin foil hat, but in the atmosphere between differing layers - temperature, humidity, pressure - there is not always a flat line. It can be wavy, big waves. (think huge ocean waves, but bigger.) An airliner flying level can pass through these waves, some making contrails - some parts of the wave not as favorable for the condensation produced by the jet engine to show. Not a common thing but it happens. Glad you got your machines up and running!

  • @dans5017
    @dans5017 3 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

    Military has Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS). Contrails are environmental dependent, the intensity is going to also be depend on the engine used. Keep in mind, not all engines are the same, like CAT, John Deere, and Cummins, they don't operate with identical parameters, they are different as you know. The mixture of moist atmosphere and engine variables change, and with that, so does the contrail. The breaking up of the contrails is showing you where there are different environmental conditions. There is no such thing as a chemtrail, it's all compressed, heated air in a cold moist environment, nothing more. Even during combat missions in the B-52, we blew contrails during high altitude missions, nothing we could do about it unless we changed altitudes to find air that wouldn't cause them, there is no switch. We could dump fuel on some aircraft and helicopters to adjust weight prior to landing, that was not through the engines, it was through tubing that generally would not show like a contrail, just mist directly behind the aircraft for a few hundred feet at the most. We were restricted to dumping below certain altitudes to allow dissipation of the fuel mist, but in an emergency you could dump lower.

  • @kennethney4260

    I don't want to try to convince anyone one way or the other when it comes to contrails "but" ever watch a hawk flying and then it stops flapping its wings and glides and even gains altitude? They're riding thermals which is basically very localized pockets of warmer air. Glider pilots use them to gain altitude by staying in them and turning in circles. Point being contrails are an effect of air temperature. When a plane flys through thermals it can be warm enough that the contrails don't form. That's one explanation for the effect Jeff describes.

    in drought times the skies are clear, a day or two before a rain event the planes are out spewing thier poisons out, and if you notice those chem trails grow in size , i'm with you on them things jeff

    Use the critical thinking you apply so readily with your mechanical challenges to study the heat/thermal variables at altitude. Pretty elementary, jet just flew in warmer air. BTW, happens with recips as well. The edge of the looney bin is shaking hands with danger! 😂

  • @two-strokesmoke7289

    I went to A&P school in Cheyenne, Wyoming Nov 1988 to Nov 1989. Most (if not all) modern aircraft engines are TURBOFAN ENGINES. There is about a 90% to 10% mix ratio of atmospheric air to exhaust of the engine. These TURBOFAN engines can only leave a "contrail" under ideal conditions. Then it is only a short distance behind the aircraft. Those "contrails" that go halfway across the sky or all the way across are NOT contrails. They are dumping stuff out of nozzles strategically positioned by the engine nacelles to make it appear as "contrails". I said all that to say this: I agree 100% Jeff with your "interesting story"!!!! AND you are right they are poisoning EVERYONE, including themselves. However the "super rich" have access to high tech medical care and probably are "flushing" out the toxins periodically......don't know that but I have heard that.
