My handbrake is superb on my Seicento. New cables, shoes, adjusters and cylinder it'll be mint. I can tell you a car that does have a terrible handbrake, the P2 Volvos.
I do need to stop moaning about them and just put the work in..weirdly the white cinqs ha brake is still awful with new shoes and cylinders and cable so I'm not too sure what the hell is wrong with that one. Job for the winter
@@wornoutracing , my sisters Seicento would seize the scissor mechanism in each dum quite regularly. Every 6 months we would have to pop them out and free them off.
@@wornoutracing , at least they are easy to do. Check the petrol tank doesn't have a leak. There was a recall to fit new fuel tanks (unfortunately on my sisters car, not long after I had to change it)
Thanks Paul... no it's straight plug in..thankfully later seicentos have an OBD2 port on them so you can use a traditional scanner.. this one was only about £18
Hehe the HandBrake is good. The Cars have more than 20 years now. Put new shoes, new hydraulic salve cylinders and new cable and you Will see. And the parts are cheap so...
That’s a great result hoping it gets snapped up. Hand brakes are my Achilles heal on every car I have owned although I do spend time ensuring they ‘work’ beforehand, usually a strip down/clean and reassemble. The cylinders is a good mention on older systems. Will ‘stalk’ the marketplace to see if the car is still available.. well done, Sir!
Top job mate! Always good to see another Sei saved :D
stumbled on this on my feed, cant wait for next episode!
Welcome to WornOut Racing 😀👍
@@wornoutracing pleasure to be here, love seeing people in uk save cars built in my home village, very underrated platform!
Defo show us another purchase and flip mate
Thanks Ben.. I'll see what little bargains I can pick up

@wornoutracing if you were local I'd show you. I wasn't expecting much from these myself but when they're setup good. They're good.

@katywalker8322 yeah it does seem yl usually be the arms that cause problems first ..they need a little cover or some decent grease on the join really

great vid as always, does that Creador 3001 just plug straight in or did you need a adapter?

Yeah I know 😄 I just like to give the hand brakes a hard time for always causing me problems haha
Mate, your garage looks so small that you won't be able to put anything bigger than Seicento in there!
😀 that's part of the reason I only do small fiat's haha
Great job. When you cut to the sponge dripping water….I wasexpecting you to cut to time lapse and see you wearing a bikini…

😆😆😆 I did consider it, but in the interest of not getting everyone too excited I decided to leave it out
Phonic wheel learn
Every time I came to film something on it I completely forgot what it was called 😄 kept saying crank sensor
