What a well behaved calm dog to groom. My Shih Tzu will not allow me to do her under eye trimming. I have the rounded scissors for the face. The groomer has a tough time as well but manages to trim his under eye.
She's such a good girl and very patient with me. Sometimes treats can help, or taking them for a long walk beforehand, but I also have a hard time with a few dogs I groom.
@@healthyhappypaws Tried the treats playing and walks with him but he's just impossible. Allows and looks forward to his grooming every morning. Runs and sits by the grooming table but no trimming around his face.
Are you having trouble because they won't keep still? If so, dogs can get a bit fussy with the way you hold them when you trim their face. Check out my '3 ways to hold your dog's face' short. I'll post a video soon on how to trim a dog's face.

It sets off my anxiety when I watch dogs faces been groomed 🙈🙉
I appreciate your videos. Thank you for sharing. I have trouble trimming my dog's mouth. Particularly his mustache and beard areas. Any tips.
