I would but 2 things. 1, I was out of sunlight when I started painting, 2 I thought it was pretty straight forward. I'm no artist so if I could do it, anyone can.
I did this on my both my F12 & F12 Elite. To remove the rear wheels all you need to do is hold one wheel tightly and start to rotate the other wheel at the same, this will break the glue on the weaker side then keep rotating the wheels in opposites direction and one wheel will drop off and the other wheel will stay on the axle. Then you can slide the axle out, then the brake discs just fall out and you can get at the callipers etc to paint. Then just slide the axle back through to reassemble and push the opposite wheel back on and nothing gets damaged and the wheels all roll perfectly.
When you took the car apart, I wish you had shown the inside of the hood roof and the rear hatch. Maybe they had artificially done something to seal them shut and I was wondering if it was possible to break the seals. I once bought a baseline Ferrari FF and the hood was actually held by two screws. If I unscrewed these, I could make the hood open (no engine though) but sadly the hinge mechanism did not work, i.e. the hood would just slide off and hit the windshield rather than having a working hinge. As for the back hatch of the FF, it had hinges just like the elite, but was also held together by additional screws, but when I removed these, the hinge still did not open, so I figured the hatch was soldered to the rest of the car body.
For the yellow stitching, you can use a tooth pick and dip the tip in the paint bit by bit and paint out the yellow stitching. That's how I do it for my Mclaren P1! :D
You made that harder then what it is. I have that same model you're working on and the elite version also and I took that whole car apart with no problem. I took the seats out and painted them also. That car is easy because it doesn't have much in it like the elite one does. Hot wheels cars are not hard to customize at all.
You should try and build 1/24 model kits, I know you've built a 1/24 BRZ, but why spend $300 on a diecast when you can get a 1/24 model for $20 with the same amount of details
I do too, but i dont want to pay Hundreds of dollars for a prebuild model car that im going to buy that is just going to sit there, i find it fun building model cars for like $20
Kidcaraddict Damn out here in lake charles, louisiana we dont have a costco and idk if sams even sales diecast out here and do you have a link to amazon

You have to heat the metal rod so it warms up the glue that holds the wheels to the rod. With the rod being hot it becomes easy to seperate them from the rods. (Have done this to all my elites that I've modded) You can use a lighter just make sure you angle it in such a way that the plastic underbody does not get melted in the process. You could use a soldering iron if you have a high temp one.
It's still really nice even though it turn out perfectly. Have you thought about adding more lights directly overhead? Some parts of the video are really dark (sometimes because of the angle you hold the car at).
I was in a rush to make this video. I literally drove to Houston 5 minutes after recording this. When I get another Bburago to customize I'll make a better video.
Very nice, but it would be even nicer if you showed the painting process :)

Ah, makes sense!

Dude, I hope you reply because I want to know how to take the wheels off without breaking the car.
If I knew how, I wouldn't have broken it myself.

Heat the metal rod. Loosens the glue and the wheels come off
