With diecast, you get what you pay for. Why would you buy 9 of the exact same cars anyway? Why get a Bugatti Veyron when you can buy 65 Honda Accords?

Exactly my thinking when I started collecting cars. My brother went with 1:18. I with 1:24. I have 3 times the cars he has to this day. And I've spent like a tenth what he's spent.
I'm sure Drifter D meant 9 or 10 "different cars" Plus I can display at least 7 cars in the footprint of 3- 1:18 cars. Unfortunately, the stores went with 1:18 cars and there always seemed to be, a much larger selection in the larger 18 scale. I only have one 1:18 car and that's a 67 Chevy Camaro which was bought by a relative, as a birthday gift

BBurago are no less than Hot Wheels.
Actually, the panel gap for the engine lid is intentional as that is a styling cue on the actual LaFerrari. Ferrari wanted to invoke the same design vibe as the F50 and have that thick black line around the engine lid. Hot Wheels Elite is more accurate in this case.
I have both, and bburago did a fantastic job! But damn, I didn't know the spoiler lifts on my elite!!! That makes the extra money worth it for me itself.
Bburago did great job and also the front wheels are better on Bburago
You can tell by the way the light reflects off the car's paint which one is more expensive.

What no one has is the Maisto vs the Bburago. They compete more. I'd get the higher end Hot Wheels if it had trunk and doors that opens. (The Laferrari should only have the signature silver wheels...having owned 2 Ferraris myself) You can actually get the Hot Wheels for about 50 dollars now.
HaNooo the Maisto should be the same as the Bburago as both brands are now under one parent company. Also as depicted in the video, the LaF from Hot Wheels does have opening everything and this is from their Elite range whereas Bburago also has a more detailed LaF in their Signature version compared to their lower end Race & Play series range which I believe is used for comparison here & due to this choice, I don’t think this comparison video is fair because it’s not a true representation of the models in their price range

Bburago is the better bang for the buck

I have Maisto's LaFerrari model and they are just the same with the Bburago one 😂
Bburago Ferraris are my preferred choice, even though the hot wheels LaFerrari has a movable wing, I still prefer the Bburago versions. And the Bburago LaFerrari I found on Target had red brake calipers, and it’s still much more detailed than the 1/24 model. In conclusion, I think the Bburago version of the LaFerrari is better because I’ve been searching for weeks to find a single hot wheels Ferrari, and then now I realized from this video, they don’t make them anymore because they lost the licensing rights to do so, and Bburago has more Ferrari models.

For items like these what people don't realize is that the details directly correlates into cost, exponentially. Still bought bburago though, but absolutely appreciates the Hot toys, but I cant afford it atm.
People. If you have a budget, settle for the Bburago. Honestly, with the HW Elite, you're only getting a liiiiiiiitle more oomph for nearly 3 times the cost. It is NOT worth it.

The Hot Wheels also has that iconic black body panel gap that goes around all the flagship ferraris from the F40 to the LaF, and the fitment is spot on where the cheaper one does not even have it. That's unforgivable even for a $40 price tag.😟 The Hot Wheels is way better, but I don't see any mass produced diecast models being worth over $60. Maybe $80 for one with that Hot Wheels level of detail. They have skyrocketed over the past decade, and I don't see why. That sucks for all you model guys.😕Wish you the best.

I think the Burago has scale and sizing issues. The side mirror stalk lengths are immediately obvious. The list of differences gets much longer in person.
i would still go for a HotWheels Elite, i love the details made by Hotwheels.
but the Burago's engine compartment looks more neat and detail

You can still find the Bburago LaFerrari (1/24 at least) for Half that price. I bought mine for only $30 off Amazon.

Hot Wheels Elite only, rest is extremly poorly made.
but the pricetag of the Elite's is so that they rivals AutoArt cars (no question what i would have chosen there)
but because of licences there is no Ferrari's from AutoArt.
some of the regular 1/18 hot wheels are ok though...like the 612 scaglietti or 430 coupe
I so want to buy the Hot Wheels Elite version but the reviews on most sites complain about the horrible inconsistency and interestingly, almost nobody said it was worth the $120. One said the doors were misaligned and he couldn't fix them. Just one issue after another...

The wheel rims is pointing outwards on the hotwheels but inwards for the bburago, I think either bburago or hotwheels got it wrong

Back when burago models.were producted in Italy they were amazing detailled. Now with the production in China they don't
so you should compare the signature edition ones and the HW elite ones bcoz then its fare comparison
Not really, still way off price. Plus, I don't think anyone is going to buy me the signature version lol. I'm fine with these 2 for my personal collection.

this one in the video is the elite, retailing for 180 bucks. there is a baseline hot wheels version retailing for approx 50 where boot and trunk dont open

The panel gap on the rear hood of the hwe is actually not a flaw. That's how it actually looks on the real car though.
It's a flaw because the gap is too big due to the movable spoiler.
How's the tire for the HWE Elite, mine is a bit loose and it will slightly came off when i roll the car. Quite disappointed with the HWE rims and tire, their quality is just so bad.

Nope, just slightly push the car around when I took it down from my shelf and the tire will come unaligned with the rim. Is just so loose on this model

Well Buddy if you look at the actual laferrari you can see the hot wheels is actual matching the panel accuracy as far as the gap goes 😉

I actually bought a Bburago LaFerrari for myself but my passenger door wont stay would you know how to fix it? Great review BTW the laf is one of my favorite cars!
You might be able to find a bolt under the car by the door that can tighten it. I have a maisto Viper that did have that option to help tighten or loosen the door but it doesn't seem to be available on all maisto/bburago models.

you have the regular one that retails for around 50 bucks where the boot and trunk do not open. exotic diecast has the hot wheels elite one in his video which costs 180 bucks.
