I have the same problem with my red Ferrari Berlinetta and I realised that the trunk and the bonnet were both glued up permanently. My brother used a heat gun to get rid of the glue on his grey car, but unfortunately he melted his rear windshield.
Hi dillion..MEH.. I would not pay $63 bucks for this model. Nope. That rear and front hoods do open. I' looked up pix. The photos I saw show a nicely detailed motor. But another poster says there is no motor. Wow.$63 bucks and no motor! I did not see any detail on the chassis. Have patience and you will sort this model out. Have a blessed day!
I think it should at least come with some windows, if no flocking. Even if they were partially up. It is a beautiful model, but from Hot Wheels, I wont buy another one with no windows lol.
@@DiecastShowcase I started with 24 scale. My main collection is 24 scale. In between I collect 18 scales also if I get a good deal on that. I am purely a budget collector. So all collections from entry level brands like Bburago, Maisto, Welly and MotorMax. The only expensive model I have is the E30 by Solido.
Hi Dillon, if you remove the screws bolting the chassis to the car body, you should be able to carefully take the car apart. That way you can reach the rear hatch glass from below and clean it. I think this should also give you an idea how the rear hatch is sealed because in your interior shot I noticed it has the dog leg hinges needed for an opening rear hatch so its probably the same part as on the elite version, but they must have sealed it somewhere else. I have the FF where they have sealed the hood and trunk in a similar way. I could get the hood to open on the FF, but not only is there no engine inside, but the hinges won't lock, so that the hood would then open too far and crash into the windshield so I kept it sealed.
Thank you for your tips. I am scared to take it apart lol because i dont want to mess anything up, like the suspension or anything else, because i can be careless at times, but i may end up trying that to clean it... it drives me nuts.

The music was cooler than the Ferrari tbh
This is great ! I have the 24 scale by Bburago and pretty satisfied with it. Strange that this 18 scale of HW Elite doesn't have windows !

@@DiecastShowcase Yeah, 18 scale models pretty much come with windows and being the HW Elite model, it should have been there !
@@DiecastDreamz I concur. Do you have more 1 24 scale models or more 1 18?
