Jesus the dice really spit in the Slaanesh player's face. Very well played as always though! Love to see your battle reports!
The dice gods were definitely on my side for this one. Maybe that's the Great Horned Rat's role as an official God of Chaos!
As a Slaanesh player, sympathized hard with your opponent - he definitely rallied pretty well.
Great format and breakdown of the game
Awesome as always!
The lord of pain only buffs friendly mortal units, sadly it cant buff daemons
Thanks for the great BR :))
I'm curious, how many challenge games do you play versus the 1 per week you get to share with us? Excited to see Stormcast next week, and hoping we get to see the rest of the factions before 4.0!
On average I'd say I'm playing 3 challenge games a week and still sneak in a couple regular fun games too!
Redmaw plague is truly horrifying for the opponent. last weekend i won a tournament game by getting it off on karazai straight up killing his praetor escort
Good stuff! How many qualified so far? :)
Just two so far, I think the overall record right now is 21-2.
One of my friend always obliterate me when he plays Slaneesh. Or another list now I'm thinking about it lol. He's got a different list to what you were facing, with unit with up to 30 models, but the Redmaw plague is really nice to put on Glutos.
How does that work though? "At the start of the combat phase, if the infected HERO is within 3" of any other units in your opponent’s army and is not within 3" of any units in your army, then you can treat that HERO as a friendly unit until the end of that combat phase." From what I saw you do, I've seen that you were moving his hero to get in combat, so I assume you move to the max of his movement? You don't have to charge either, right?
Glucose was within 3" of his Blissbarb Seekers in the combat phase and not within 3" of me, so he piled in and attacked!
Hi Jordan.
How has the point increase changed your list??
I had a very similar setup to yours, but can’t really fit the plague furnace now.
With the new points I ended up dropping the Gutter Runners + Drill and then added in 10 PCB's that start on the board plus the Vermintide endless spell. I definitely preferred the old list, but this variant has been doing well too! Other changes was giving the Furnace the Command Trait Battle Lust which lets him re-roll charges; you can use that to get 4 chances at the PCB deepstrike charge! Roll his charge, use his ability to reroll, then charge PCB's, and you can still use the reroll command on them.
@@warpfireminis great info. I tried bringing the gutter runners without a drill, but they felt really weak compared to with it.
Do you use the vermintide with Screech for a double-cast damage , or more for move blocking?
Thank you so much for your content. It is awesome inspiration on how to fight different army types. Particularly the Idoneth was great advice, I could not figure them out until seeing your game.
Cheers!
@@thorvitushove-kreutzfeldt9984 Thank you for watching! The Gutters are definitely lackluster if they have to come down turn 1; they need to hit the right spot at the right time to be worth their points and more often than not turn 1 just isn't the time.
I usually have an extra cast floating around, so Vermintide is just something extra to throw out there. The damage is pretty lackluster, but it'll scare little foot heroes, make an opponent waste an unbind, and if they don't unbind it move-blocking is 100% it's best use. It isn't going to set the world on fire, but that time or two where it gets in the way can be a really big deal.
As a Slaanesh player, I would REALLY like to challenge you 😂
The LoP doesn’t give Daemon Units the +1/+1 btw, only Mortal Units
Come on down, you've got all year!
Pretty certain you need to deploy 9” away from enemy territory. It’s a mistake in the english version. You have that restriction in other version (ex: in the french one).
I can only speak for events in the US, but every major event and even GW events are all played that you can deploy right on the line for this one!
It's actually a mistake in the other versions. Since it didn't change in the latest errata, you don't have to deploy 9 from the ennemy (that's how it's played in french tournament too, AOSFF ruling aligned with how it's played at world)
Yea you can deploy right on the line and into combat if both players do.
