    Imagine being Noel, coming back home after 9 months with a guitar and a few riffs, and finding out his brother has THAT voice.

    Absolutely love this! This song has been the beat of my life since 94.

    Kudos to Owen Morris. He saved that record, which had the songs and the performances, but lacked the production. He made it sound like Oasis.

    Oasis were fuckin' underground rock beast 93 -94, they never went from being good or at least decent 'til the end in my opinion, but the early stage surely was something else.
    Departure of Tony and Noel's starting forcing football stadium anthems out of him changed them, maybe not for the worst but different.

    • @lucasm3879
      @lucasm3879 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah they were raw and more underground sounding until Definitely Maybe. Nick McCabe said he heard the white label of Columbia and picked them as support for Verve on the strength of that.

    Columbia is the greatest thing Oasis ever stole, imitated, wrote, adapted, played, mimicked, created, parlayed, intensified or otherwise.

    Real people version and boardwalk basement sound like tinkered white label versions?

    • @remix1731
      @remix1731  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They Pretty Much are, the Real People Version Is The White label demo version in the Notes for The White Label version on the Deluxe Edition of Definitely Maybe state this, also The Boardwalk basement version is different because near the end the Lyrics are Shuffled around on purpose to make the “this is confusion am I confusing you” part make the lyrics said confusing

    Tony and Paul were the backbone of the band, and the most important elements in defining the overall “sound”.
    Tony and Paul should get together for a new project - would be fucking biblical, man.

    Do you have a FLAC of the Sawmill studios verison?

    • @remix1731
      @remix1731  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don’t have the flac but I have the MP4 File of the Full session, it was originally by maxigonzales ( May Have Spelled Wrong ) and it was later taken down due to copyright, but I was able to download it before it got taken down.

    One of the best songs of all time. Imagine a Nirvana cover. Any AI engeneers. Please do it 🔥

      It’s quality, but it’s not one of the best songs of all time, that’s ridiculous. Listen to Axe Corner - Tortuga to hear where they lifted the chords from.
