    So beautiful. How old is the blooming plumeria? I just got an 18" potted and live in a cold state, so hopefully it'll get that big one day. Any hope for that? Btw if I had a garden like that, I won't want to leave my house.

    hi! glad I found your vids..you're knowledgeable with tropical plants. I'm also a plants lover! :) I first was wondering if I could grow plumeria in California.. now I know.(like to call 'em frangipani though) think I'm gonna have some in a pot..that way I can bring them in when winter time.(tempt gets lower 50) -In Thailand,where I'm originally from, this plant is very popular..and it's common they put in the ground. These reminds me to my home country.

    maybe that plumeria is more prolific because it is close to the wall and it receives a little more heat

    I been wanting that shamrock. Time to go get one. What scent is that geranium? Rose maybe? Hope you get some time to sit and relax on your lovely patio!

    • @PlantzNThings
      @PlantzNThings  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ***** it is a lemon scent... it's my favorite to be honest.. it's so fresh. and lately I have been relaxing more often...

    • @Nhoj31neirbo47
      @Nhoj31neirbo47 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! I to love lemon scented leaves & flowers. I think I could be happy growing only scented geraniums, as there are so many varieties of fragrance and foliage. There is a peppermint one with large very fuzzy leaves, but one would need space as it a big sprawly beast.

    How did you trim your bougainvillea to look like a tree. Can you post a video of pruning it like that?

    • @PlantzNThings
      @PlantzNThings  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i bought that plant with that shape already started... I have a new one that i will be training into a standard... i'll try to remember to film when i trim it next... won't be until the spring or summer now.

      @@PlantzNThings sure no problem. Thank you. I will wait to see you training your bougainvillea in the spring. Love your educational videos. For a novice like me, it's great learning :) Happy and healthy 2021 to you and your beautiful plants.

    I got a question:) , in the winter time will my cactus and succulent grow ??

    • @PlantzNThings
      @PlantzNThings  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      12109babygurl that depends on your plants and your area... some cactus to their major growth in the winter when the temps cool down and there might be more rain. however many times in the home there is no noticeable growth.

    Why did my Plumeria never bloom 3 years old from cuttings and what fertilizer should I give the plumerias pls.thanks

    • @PlantzNThings
      @PlantzNThings  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Joan Agius They need Lots of light... Full sun is best. feed regularly with a balanced fertilizer of 20-20-20 is fine... or a fertilizer with a higher middle # is good too. did you buy yours as a cutting? and where is it growing? and how long is your growing season?

  • @Rose-wo8bh

    What fertilizer do you use, especially with the other plants in the pot?

    • @PlantzNThings
      @PlantzNThings  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Rose Blake I fertilize with Miracle grow every week or 2. alternating between all purpose and super bloom.

    Hy plantzN Things your garden is such a beautiful and you are a good gardener please you help me abought rose plants care fertilizer and fungicide please reply me Thank you

    • @PlantzNThings
      @PlantzNThings  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there :) you would need a fertilizer with a high middle # for example 15-30-15... this will focus on root and bloom production... as for fungicide... this is tough because brands vary by area... there are usually anti fungal powders that you shake onto the plant... for mildew you can use a 1 gallon garden sprayer filled with water and add 1 ounce of horticultural oil and a tbsp or 2 of baking soda ... shake it up well and spray your plant all over... don't forget the underside of the leaves too..
