Diana Prince is going about her day at the United Nations building when she encounters a general who is not at all what he appears to be. Wonder Woman soon discovers that the general was just bait, designed to lead her into a direct conflict with Mars, the Roman god of war - in a universe where he rules and the laws of physics don't apply. Can Wonder Woman escape the trap and thwart Mars's plans to plunge the Earth into war?
This book and record set was released in 1977 by Power Records, a division of Peter Pan records. During the 1970s, Power Records released a number of storybook records based on comic and television characters, such as Superman, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, Batman, The Six Million Dollar Man, Star Trek, Space: 1999, and many more. This set included a 16-page large format comic book and a 33 1/3 vinyl LP that played along with the comic.
These book and record sets are out of print and difficult to find, often fetching ridiculous sums on eBay due to their value among collectors. This set contained two stories, of which this is the first on the A side. The first one is Wonder Woman: Amazons From Space.
