A fleet of mysterious spaceships is headed toward Earth, but after they are attacked without provocation by the world's superpowers, they arrive with a shocking message. The gorgeous 7-foot-tall alien Amazons are here to put women in charge so that the male fear and aggression that led to the attack will never happen again. On their world, women rule and men are slaves, and they intend to remake Earth in their image. Can Wonder Woman put things right and establish equality among the sexes once and for all?
This book and record set was released in 1977 by Power Records, a division of Peter Pan records. During the 1970s, Power Records released a number of storybook records based on comic and television characters, such as Superman, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, Batman, The Six Million Dollar Man, Star Trek, Space: 1999, and many more. This set included a 16-page large format comic book and a 33 1/3 vinyl LP that played along with the comic.
These book and record sets are out of print and difficult to find, often fetching ridiculous sums on eBay due to their value among collectors. This set contained two stories, of which this is the second on the B side. The first one is Wonder Woman vs. The War God.
