#4 Explore the Heartland: Drive from St. Louis to Kansas City, Kansas, and Missouri! 🚗

#4 in the US Cross Country roadtrip series from New York City to Seattle. Start under the impressive Arch in St. Louis, Missouri. A pit stop along the Mississippi River, we also stop at Pappy’s for some great St.Louis Ribs (for takeout - yah… covid times), then onwards to Kansas city. Not before a short stop in Chesterfield to see the fantastical sculpture called, “The Awakening” which is of a very large man coming up from the ground. We hit both Kansas City, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri, two separately incorporated cities but together, as part of the Kansas City Metropolitan area. Increase your resolution up to 4k and enjoy the ride. I recorded no sound so you can enjoy your own music.

Missouri should've built one giant metro in the Ozark mountains instead of 2 medium metros on the plains by the rivers. KC and STL would have over 5 million people if they were combined right now. It could've been the Seattle of the center of the country.
